You can see who the moderators are of each board by looking at the main forum page or the bottom of each forum.

There is a story somewhere about how/why Pete started this site but I can't find it right now. Maybe someone else can. I think there are also a few Podcasts where he talks about the DISboards history. The podcast board could probably help you find those.
