Curious about birthdays at WDW

OK - I know it's way far off, but my nephew and I were talking about this the other day. Besdies, I'm a planner and just have to ask this question now. Next June will be my youngest nephew's turn for his "Me & Aunt Jen Only" vacation. Our arrival day, I'm thinking about just chilling out and doing HDDR. Then, the next day, a Saturday and our first full day, will be his 10th birthday.

What would the perfect birthday day at WDW be for a 10 yo boy?

I've never paid attention to birthday threads/comments at WDW, so I'm curious to what you all will come up with.

My son turns 10 in a couple of weeks. It's our first visit so we were unsure what to do too! In the end we have booked the pirate cruise for him and his younger brother in the morning. In the evening we are going to the hoop de doo review. I know you can collect badges, which I'm sure we'll do, but my guess is that just being in WDW on your birthday will be amazing.

Note his b-day on every ADR and remind them at check-in. My DD had the best time at Le Cellier the night before her 5th birthday. Anyway, make sure you go to his favorite park, do his favorite attractions, etc. You'll both have a blast!

Go to Guest Relations at whatever park and get a "Today is my Birthday" pinback badge. He'll get lots of "Happy Birthday" wishes from CM's. My daughter and her friends got whisked up to VIP seating at Beauty & the Beast. Another friend's daughter got preferred seating at Indiana Jones' Epic Stunt Spectacular.
