I think we all know who you mean. :) I have no idea that person's story or a way to find out. It's perplexing.

But what i dont get is just why does it matter. :confused3 How does what he posts or dosent post affect you? Not trying to be mean. But i just dont understand why it matters. Seems to me he is a very happy person in love with disney like many of us.

I agree!

My grandmother used to say "When in doubt, smile, say hi, and move on".

Exactly, I don't understand why it matters... he's who he is and you are who you are and we all come here of different races, religions, backgrounds, lifestyles all because we love Disney. So why the heck does it matter?

I'm pretty sure there is some kind of problem there - what the problem is, I have no idea. If I suspected a prank of some sort, though, personally I'd just ignore the posts rather than rise to the bait.

Yup...no reason to post on this person's posts. I don't think it is a joke and would not treat it as such. Some people enjoy different things than other people do, and that is okay, and if you think it is weird, it is best to stay out of it.

If you have any concerns about the content of someone's posts being out of line of something you can always pm a moderator about it. I don't think they can or should share any personal info they may have about any member but, you can always report posts that are of concern to you. Posting it on the forum may cause a bit of a stir and really we as members can't address your concerns.

Here is a link to pm a mod if there is something troubling going on or something you think is against the rules of the forums.

Hope this helps you out. :)

Well I did WRITE why it matters...again...I was curious so that would help me understand HOW to reply to his posts properly. If they are a joke I can reply in a joke like manner. If there is truly a mental problem there then I can reply in a gentle fashion.

I just was hoping for some answers so I will know how to "properly" reply to their posts.

Here's how you properly reply to the posts: Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Or, don't reply at all.

I'm really really not trying to be rude- but this is a topic that has been brought up multiple times, it has been addressed by FC- he's a grown adult vegan who digs stuffed animals and mice and certain skunks, and likes to type his messages with a childlike manner. Ok- his business, not mine. But some people (not you, OP) LOVE to be mean to him. I cannot understand it- I mean, on the freaking DISNEY boards, people are going out of their way to be rude and downright mean to someone. Humanity at its best.

You could always go with the standard "Dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all"

Just a thought.

Honestly, we don't really know for sure what anyone on this board is really like, and what kinds of problems they may truly have (unless of course we know them in real life). I don't see a reason for treating anyone differently than we would anyone else. I believe that the nature of this board is intended to be that we are all respectful of every other member.

I know exactly what you're talking about and I've wondered the exact same thing.

That being said, I honestly don't think posting this is really appropriate. I'm not trying to flame you, and I'll freely admit I've thought of the exact same thing as you, but I just don't think it's right to post something like this in an open forum. I mean, most people can read between the lines and I think it's a little humiliating for the person being referred to.

I don't think wanting to know how to respond to someone's posts is enough of a justification to publicly conjecture about someone's mental state. If you're unsure how to respond, just move along. Not every thread requires input.

I understand your curiosity, but I really think this something you should have kept to yourself.

Nicely put Melissa.

I guess what I am trying to say is that some folks post joke threads and most everyone knows they are intended to be a joke so they also post joke replies. Some people post things that they did not intend to be a joke but others view it as a joke and someone gets their feelings hurt. I would like to reply at times to the poster I am referring to but I just wanted to make sure I am posting in the correct tone. If it is a joke then I can reply to it as a joke.If there is a serious post then I can reply with a serious tone and if there is "something" there then if I CHOOSE to reply then I will better know how to answer so I don't offend. SIMPLE!!!

I totally agree. It's not like the poster being referred to can't read or open this thread. Let's try putting ourselves in someone else's shoes.

I'd be horribly upset if I clicked on a thread openly pondering my mental status. (Ok. Maybe I'd understand it.... :rotfl2: )

Please, le't not go there again!!!

I know exactly who you are referring to. Just skip over his posts like I do if you find them disturbing. JMHO. :)

While I agree with this, the thing I notice about FC posts is that people coddle him like he's a child, maybe because he posts in that manner. Honestly, if I were to make a post about having a sore throat, a headache or whatever, I think I would barely get any responses and it would hit page 2 before you know it.

Honestly, FC posts are strange, but I opt for the not saying anything at all, but that's my view point everytime a post of his comes up.
