Curb Removal on Main Street

Did they remove the curbs on all of MS? Or just part?


My friend is going with his wheelchair bound Dad in August and was asking me about the curb changes.
I was just there 3 wks ago and didn't even notice.

Curbs are still there, but there is wheel chair access to all the sidewalks.

But is this any different than it was a year ago? or are the wheelchair access points new?


I don't really recall this. We always have to tip our stroller up to get on to the actual sidewalk.

There are cutouts for wheelchairs at the corners of the street (like any normal street).
If you had to tip your stroller to get on/off the curb, you were most likely crossing in the middle of the sidewalks and not the ends.

I was there last week, sitting on the curbs on Main Street waiting for the MSEP and FoF parades. The curbs are definitely still there.
