Cupcakes - Goofy's Candy Co or Big Top Souveniers?

We will be in Disney next month on my son's 2nd birthday. That day, we plan on spending the morning at Magic Kingdom and then heading to Disney Springs for a late lunch at T-Rex. Instead of getting a cake, I thought I would take everyone to pick out a cupcake of their choice! Herein lies my dilemma. The cupcakes at Big Top are amazing, but if we got them there they would be sitting in the car the rest of the afternoon. In all my trips, I have never been in Goofy's Candy Co. I know they sell cupcakes there, but is there as much variety as Big Top? Thanks in advance for the insight!

Why not get cupcakes at Sprinkles? Its actually closer to T-Rex and there's way more cupcake variety than Goofy's. A small cake to share from Amorette's would also be an option as well!

We actually went to Sprinkles on our last trip in September, and the cupcakes were terrible. They actually tasted like they had been sitting there for several days. I was so disappointed because I had been looking forward to trying them. Mainly though, the kids love the huge character cupcakes at Big Top, and I think it would be fun for them to pick out one of those! Thanks for the ideas though!!

I don’t know if they have them all the time, but I’ve seen cupcakes and cake pops at Goofys.

Ah- okay, gotcha. I know Sprinkles isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think they are amazing!

Back to Goofy's- Though I can't remember the variety of cupcakes at Goofy's, they do have a lot of customizable treat options. You fill out a piece of paper with the different options and its pretty cool!

I was just at Goofy's last month, and they had fewer cupcakes -- maybe none. I was surprised. I wouldn't count on finding them there.

Shame you don't like Sprinkles. I think they're the best cupcakes at Disney, but I know everyone is different.
