Cupcake Toppings—more then just frosting!

So did you know that you can top a cupcake with just about anything your heart desires?

Yep..and the puck doesn’t stop there, you can frost your cupcakes with any type of frosting, whether it be peanut butter frosting or a mocha chocolate frosting with a cream cheese filling inside!

So what do you like to top your cupcakes with?

Ok, well because I am soo into cooking. Baking is not really my thing, but I can do it, but I like to put chocolate cream cheese frosting on my cupcakes. And add nutts and white chocolate chips!

mmmmmmmmmm cupcakes............I like those. I like traditional toppings, frosting then sprinkles. But I also want to be more adventurous with my cupcake toppings so I wish there was a cupcake store where you could go in and chose your flavor, then your frosting and some toppings...sort of like Cold Stone but with cupcakes.

anything is better than the cupcakes they sell at DTD, i was so excited about the red velvet anniversary cupcake, got two of them, ate about 3 bites of one of them then gave the other to house keeping, it had no taste, the frosting was piled so high and looked delicious, but tasted like nothing, i was so disappointed.

MM i had the 55th cake piled soo high with frosting it was cream cheese frosting it was soo freakin good!

We have one of those fancy cupcake places Kitilano, and one time a friend of ours bought us 6 of them as a treat. While they looked REALLY good, the reality of it was that I could make them better and cheaper myself.

Well we will have to hire Matt, he is after all a pastry cook. That would be so much fun!!!!

Belle, that sucks, that's how I feel about the cupcakes at DL, they were just not good at all....
