I checked out the cupcake situation at Disney's Hollywood Studios last Monday.
The Trolley Car Cafe (Starbucks) has 5 cupcakes, which are shown here. They are sold in closed plastic containers, although they are on display in one spot out of their containers:
In case you can't see the picture well, they are:
1) Chocolate Toffee cupcake
2) Elsa cupcake, which is vanilla with buttercream icing
3) Olaf cupcake, which is carrot cake with cream cheese icing
4) Anna cupcake, which is chocolate with buttercream icing
5) Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcake
The Chocolate Toffee cupcake is $4.59.
The others are $5.19.
Starring Rolls used to be known for having cupcakes which could not be found anywhere else on property. Unfortunately for cupcake afficionados, that was no longer the case. Starring Rolls sold the same 5 cupcakes which Trolley Car Cafe was selling, although the Chocolate Toffee cupcake at Trolley Car Cafe is called the Butterfinger Cupcake at Starring Rolls:
Starring Rolls had only one other cupcake, the Red Velvet Cupcake:
The Frozen-themed cupcakes could be found in other restaurants throughout the park. The quick service restaurant which is near Star Tours had all three of the Frozen cupcakes. Our friend got the Olaf cupcake at The Commissary; I assume it had the other two as well.
I was disappointed that the formerly unique selection at Starring Rolls has been taken over by Frozen fever.
