Am I blind? Where do you find the hours for the bars at the resorts. I have made a special trip to the Boardwalk just to find out when the bar opens. Grumbled at the Grand Floridian for them not being open when they were past the opening time on the sign. And squealed with delight when I found the Sanaa bar stays open between lunch and dinner.

What's a lush to do?

Aaaahh do I miss Jellyrolls! Cant wait to be back in 4 wks, even though just one night at Jellyrolls can be a doosey on the wallet :)

Tune Inn Lounge at 50s Prime Time at Hollywood Studios. Great bartenders and opens at 11 a.m. It closes about 30 minutes after park closing on most nights. . .

You know....you can always pack a booze case, that way you always have a drank! But like Darcy. Says tune in is fun, take her advice

One of the great advantages of staying at Fort Wilderness is that I always bring down a couple cases of good beer and vodka ... I love sitting out under trees and kicking back with a nice cold brew.

That being said, I still enjoy hitting up the bars around WDW. It's nice having a drink in a fun social enviroment, even if you're paying a premium on the liquor.

The resort bars are hit and miss when they open. I've tried several times to drop by the Wilderness Lodge lounge when it's supposed to be open, but it was always closed.

I now pretty much stick to La Cava, Tune-In, and Rose&Crown. As mentioned, Tune-in opens at 11:00 AM, and I think R&C is 11:00, and La Cava is noon (or maybe 11:00?)

Most of the WS beverage kiosks open at 11 AM - with the exception of Canada, that one opens at noon. Means you have to hit Rose and Crown for your first beverage around the world if you are heading in that direction right at 11. Being a creature of habit - I love my tradition of starting with Canada so I try to wait it out!

You are correct. . .La Cava opens at noon.

Two cases of Vodka? That must be quite a party or you are quite a lush.

Nah, it's all in the phrasing ... I should have said two cases of Beer in addition to SOME vodka. :thumbsup2 I usually just bring a bottle or two of vodka for multiple people. Friends and I have been known to down a little red bull/vodka for quick jolt before hitting evening EMHs.
