Cub Scouts say the darndest thangs (pun)

This one isn't too deep, but one of the Scout Masters told it at a cub meeting for our boys, and I was one of the 'slow' ones to 'get it'.

How fast are you?

The Cub Scout leader was driving to a pack meeting, when he came upon a few cows that had gotten out, and were blocking the road.

He slowed down and hit the horn, but nothing happened. He looked to his wife in the passenger seat, and she was puzzled as well.

So he got out, raised the hood, and found a loose wire. It soon was re-attached, and he was back behind the wheel.

His wife inquired "Did you find the problem?"

He hit the horn a couple of times (and the cows moved) and he replied...

(ahem)

Beep Repaired.

Got it! That's a good one...Need to take it to our meeting tonight!

Of course, the natural (?) follow up to the story would be after arriving at the scout meeting, there was a drill on how to set up camp. Everyone had their back pack, and sleeping bag, and tent.

One father had two boys, each of whom wanted THEIR OWN tent on campouts. Because the dad had to go back and forth helping two boys, they generally didn't set things up too well. The father was already a nervous type, and rushing to do double-dad duty was making him an emotional wreck.

The Scout Master pointed out that if the brothers shared a tent, they would have a common goal, and sabotaging the other brothers tent would no longer be an option for either of them. And who knows, maybe it would even help the dad relax a little bit...

The dad says, "So you think that the problems is....."

"That's right", said the Scout Master, the problem is "your two tents".
