Hi!! After just looking at a few of the menus for some places recmd by a friend...I'm a bit discouraged.

Have 2 kids (both boys) who will be 12 and almost 6 by trip time.....looking for any ADR places that are good??? Found a few lunch/brfst ones but not too many dinner ones.

Would appreciate any advice out there! Thanks!:cool2:

Here are a few of my favorites:
MK - Crystal Palace - I had lunch there and thought it was excellent. Your 6 y.o. would probably still like Pooh & friends.
Nearby to MK - I would HIGHLY recommend O'Hana @ the Polynesian for dinner. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is fun. No characters but fun entertainment. Prep your kids to get involved with the conga line and dancing; it's really a good time. The Wave at the Contemporary resort is excellent. Although it has a more grown up feel there were plenty of kids eating there.
Epcot- We :lovestruc the Biergarten in Germany. It is a must do on every trip. I would also like to try the Le Cellier, Coral Reef and Restaurant Marrakesh.
Hollywood Studios - 50's Prime Time Cafe and Sci Fi Drive In. I'd bet your boys would love Sci Fi!
Animal Kingdom - I've heard great things about Boma (@ AKL) and may try it to my next trip.

This place is only good if you have kids or aren't bothered with lots of noise. I agree the food was pretty good as was the wait staff but I don't want to deal with Romper Room in the form of a conga line when I'm trying to eat dinner. If you have kids...go for it. Otherwise...skip it.

Hello fellow CT resident,

We have an 8 year old daughter, so picking restaurants can be tricky. I will agree with the pp that Biergarten is at the top of our list to do, the kids and adults like it. The Garden Grill in Epcot is a character lunch/dinner with Chip and Dale, it is not like Chef Mickey's and your older son may be okay with it. We liked Tusker House in Animal kingdom for lunch. I hear Tepan Edo at Japan in Epcot is good. We are going to try Boma, LeCellier and Kona Cafe' on our next trip in. Good luck with your choices.:)

Thanks guys.....I was gonna do the 50's place and the sci-fi diner for sure!

Boma is supposed to be good for bfkfst according to my friend! I was interested in the Coral Reef place but was unimpressed with the menu choices. Guess I'm a pickier eater :lmao:

Thanks for the other places....I will def check out their menus and see what they have! Still no clue what times to put but hoping that will come with more info! :yay:

Going to try that LeCellier for dinner.....hoping we can get in as it seems like everyone wants to go there...not a steak eater myself but they had some others that looked good. We shall see I guess!!

Thanks and will take all info anyone can put out there!! Tara in CT:cheer2:

I am going to move this to the Restaurants board.
