CSR - Which section?

So I am hoping to make a room request when we check in and was wondering which would be the best section (or even building) to be in:

It is me, dh, ds (10), dd(7) - first time at CSR (we have stayed at all other moderates)... would like less then a 5 minute walk to main building and pool (hoping it is warm enough to swim in November) - would be nice to be close to bus stop (for late tired nights), but we will have a car if needed as well..

We will be staying at CSR for the first time in October and we too would like to be close enough to both the main building but closer to the main pool. With that said, I have already called and put a request in for the Cabanas section. As far as I can see on the resort map, this should cater to both needs (not sure exactly how much time it takes to get to the main building from there)...now I am crossing my fingers that my request gets fulfilled .

Cabanas section is between the main building and main pool. It is close to bus stops 4 and 1, depending on the building.

Having stayed in Cabanas, I would actually recommend Casitas. The reason is the way the busses run. We were in Cabana 9A and had to use the main bus stop. It was often full and would go by and we would have to wait for next one. I think it is last for every park except DTD, unless they have changed things, as it has been a few yrs. Also, Some Casitas looked very nice and we found the walk over there, just as pleasant and nearby. I'm sure others with more experience will chime in, but I think it would be in between pool and food court, as well as having the benefit of better bussing. Also, the quiet pool looked really neat at night.
