I was wondering which one everyone would pick? We are looking to spend around $100. We are renting a car just because we have a little one. We are trying to figure out what is best CBR or CSR? Or just to get a off site hotel?

Thank You

CSR and CBR are very similar. It comes down to personal preference. We like the mexican/sw theme and the Dig Site so CSR is our choice when we visit.

CBR is a great place to stay. As far as on-site versus off-site, I think it's hard to beat staying on-site. Check out All Ears Net for some great information on places to stay.

Good Luck:wave2:

Onsite with a little one is much better than offsite. You can use the resort busses, go to early entry or e nights if they have them and easily take breaks back to the resort in the afternoon.

Just pick which theme (CBR or CSR) that appeals most to your family.

We chose CSR for our next trip because we liked the theming and the food court looks more interesting. It's really just a matter of preference...

Hi,

Everyone is right. It's definately a matter of personal preference. Check out the pictures and see which you like.

However, not to rain on your parade, unless you have an AP you may end up having to spend more than $100.00 to stay at either one of these resorts.

Both look beautiful. Currently I can only remark on CSR, it was a fantastic resort! I would absolutely stay there again!

Everytime we stay off-site we kick ourselves. Stay on if you can.

That said, no doubt our vote is CSR, great hotel.

We just returned from our 2nd stay at Coronado Springs and loved it again. I don't know that I would go and stay off site, the magic just keeps going if you do ALL Disney!! ::yes::

I personally found the CSR location to be super convenient. Right off the highway (you'd never know it from inside the resort), it really cuts down on the driving on scenic Disney road time :)

Value season is $133 Plus tax..........so that is a little more than $100. If no discounts were available, would you be ok with that rate, or would you need to look at the value resorts??

I'd stay at CSR. It is a really beautiful resort, great transportation, and a fun pool. If $133 is more than you are looking to spend and you can't get a discount code, I would stay at a value resort. I would not stay off site. Even though you are renting a car, it is so convenient to use the Disney transportation. If you can't get a code, you might be able to get a AAA discount. I believe it's 15 or 20% off rack rate depending on the season. I'm getting Pop Century for $61 a night with the AAA rate.

Thanks everyone. I am trying to convince 3 non Disney freaks that it is so much better to stay on property. Hopefully you all have helped. We are going from July 2nd - 5th and have gotten a rate of $111 after taxes. My mind is made up I think we should stay on property now just trying to get them to agree.

Thank You

:D

I would definitely stay on-site, first of all. Of the two WDW resorts, like everyone else has said, it is a matter of personal preference. I liked CSR more, though. I syated in the Ranchos section and it was great. The main pool area, the Dig Site, is awesome, too.
