We are going with a group and the group voted CSR. Would you do tower over a standard room? I like quiet. The tower is just screaming chaos to me. But looks gorgeous. How is the bus stops? Does tower pick up first? Any pluses or negative either way? We have stayed in the cabana section years ago and loved it. The tower is about $600 more for the 10 nights. Opinions please- I am torn.

Last year we stayed in a Casitas preferred room. It was first floor corner room so had an extra window but it’s not like you can have your curtains open enjoying a view. We were next to the quiet pool and close to Bus stop 2 which is the first stop for parks buses. As you are aware it’s all outside walks to El Centro.

This month we stayed in the tower. Noise in hallways never bothered us and we were not near elevators or vending. Loved having curtains open and enjoying the views. Lobby is busy during the day but Barcelona was actually relaxing later in the evening. Walk to El Centro was closer than our room last year and is enclosed if you want or go outside. Short walk to main pool. Bus stop at tower is the last. We used Lyft several times instead of waiting 15-20 minutes that the board showed.

I haven’t done the tower yet but have 2 upcoming trips there.

I loved cabanas and Ranchos for quiet.

Casitas is closer to food but I’d rather be near the pool and transportation .

For you I think saving your $ and stick with what you like. You can always visit the tower and or eat there.

Hard to chose but in the end you’ll have a good trip either way.
