CSR Spider

Currently planning a huge family trip and was hoping to stay at the CSR.

However my mother is deathly afraid of spiders and looking around I notice the spider statue at the explorer playground.

Just wondering if other arachnophobes have had problems with it and if anyone maybe has clearer pictures of it.

Our whole family hates spiders, but the statue is much more playful than creepy. We won't even ride Honey I Shrunk the Audience or Tough to be a Bug for fear of running into 3-D insects and arachnids - but as you can see in the picture, my kids had no fear of the statue.

More importantly, though, unless your mom has a specific reason to be near the playground, I doubt she'll even notice it. It is tucked back around to the side of the dig site pool. If you didn't seek it out, you might never even notice it was there.

I am terrified of spiders, I can literally vomit at the sight of them. This one however, doesn't scare me, if it were painted black it would...I really have a hard time with It's tough to be a bug attraction.

This is indeed good news and the pics will help a lot as I can at least show it to her to confirm that it's ok (she might take the kiddies over to the playground so she could very well see it)
