CSR Room question

Hi! I know it has been posted here before, but specifically, for those who have stayed at CSR, would you choose Casita 1 or Cabana 9b. We have a 4 year old and 1 year old so we want to limit the walking. We will only go to the pool one day so want to be close but it doesn't have to be super close. We definitely want to be close to Pepper Market so we can fill the mug up without a ton of walking. We like the look of the Casitas better, but have not heard much about Casita 1. There are no conventions being held the week in April that we are there. Any suggestions?

We just stayed in 8A and it was very close to the Dig Site (big pool) and very close to bus stop 4. That was important to me with a 3 & 5 yr olds. We didn't eat at the resort so not too sure about that.

Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge (most convenient location and most preferred).

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building (closest to the pool).

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool (and is the old smoking optional building).

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Make your room request as soon as you make your reservation. It’s never too early.

No conventions in April! Although maybe it would be better if there were- less traffic on the buses to the parks! With no conventions it means everyone there is probably there to go over to the Disney parks.
