CSR questions

Hi everyone!

My hubby and I decided to do Disney for x-mas 12/23 - 12/30. I have been quoted a rate of $85 for CSR which I think is pretty good. My question(s) are: How is the bus ride to the parks? I know they share a bus with a couple of resorts. what would be the distance to each park? I can't decide if I want to be closer to the parks rather then taking long bus rides.

Good news.... CSR does not share its bus with any other resorts. It has it's own busses that stop at 4 locations around the resort.

No resort is close to every park. At CSR you will be very close to AK, pretty close to Epcot and MGM and a bit further from MK.

Have fun...$85 is a great rate.

From what I've read CSR does not share buses and it takes 10-20 minutes to get to the parks, depending on which park you travel to. MK may take about 20 minutes, but Epcot, MGM, AK take about 10 minutes.

I bet you will love CSR !! We were there for 2 weeks this summer and it was fabulous !! The bus system was very convenient. The time spent on the bus was pretty short even to Magic Kingdom. It is a quick hop up a major highway to MK - non stop- no traffic !! I don't think changing resorts is worth it unless you get a great deal at someplace else that you would rather stay - due to location and theming. We were very impressed with the beautiful grounds of CSR and its relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy your trip ! Hope that helped !

CSR does not share buses with other resorts. They have great service to the parks. AK is right around the corner...5mins tops. Epcot and MGM are right down the street...10 mins maximum and MK is the furthest at 15mins.

Coronado would be a great choice. That's a great rate. I think you will enjoy the resort. I like the themeing and color scheme at Coronado.

No complaints at all about the bus service to the parks. It always seems to take a long time to get to & from DTD, but that could just be because we're pretty tired near the end of the day and that's when we hit DTD.

Love CSR! The bus service there is fantastic - I agree that the DTD route seemed the longest, but I feel that way every resort we stay at.
You'll love CSR - We were so pleasantly suprised with this resort - It's a Gem!
