CSR preferred rooms - where are they located?

I am thinking of switching my reservation to a preferred room but wanted to see where they were located. We have never stayed here before so I am excited to see it!

Yep the preferred rooms are in Casitas 1, 2, and 3.

Perfect - are they worth upgrading to or should I roll the dice and hope a get a decent building?

We asked for ... and got building 4 (non preferred) .... it was right near bus stop #2 (which is actually the first stop) and it was still close to El Centro. It turned out to be a great location.

That is where we ended up for our last stay at CSR too. Loved that location, and hope to get it again when we go in October.

We requested Casitas for our 2011 trip and got Casitas 4. We paid for preferred in 2012 because my mom was having knee issues and we wanted to guarantee being close to El Centro. We ended up in Casitas 3- and it really wasn't much closer than 4. We much preferred using bus Stop 2 as well. I'd upgrade only if you know you'd be unhappy chancing a stay in Ranchos or Cabanas. I think you'll live the resort either way- it is beautiful!

I had actually requested cabanas 8.


But you should take into account that I have THE worst luck when it comes to room requests. Ended up loving our spot in casitas, so it all worked out good.
