I just wanted to make sure I "get it" before we leave on Saturday

What is the situation with the tipping there? If we are seated, do we need to leave a tip even though it is a CS?

Plus how do they determine what is equal to 1 CS with you are on the dining plan? For example if someone went up and loaded up on food - salad, soup, steak, sides, dessert - would that be considered 1 CS or does it great broken down somehow? I am not asking this to beat the system, I just want to be aware of it.

Plus there is a walk-up CS right? The name is escaping me right now, can I get more info on that one? Thanks!!

Gratuity is added when you pay, 10%. If you are on the DDP, it's included, no need to pay anything else. You can use the Pepper Market as a walk up/take out or use the Cafe Rix. But to answer your question, tip is included with the Disney Dining Plan. Enjoy your trip!!

Is tip still included? I thought that changed this year?

As of right now, none of the CSR restaurants are on the DDP for 2009. They always get added late. Last year they were added in December. Tip is not included on TS credit but it has always been included at CS credit which the PM counts as. That's why its such a great value.

I don't think tip is included this year...since it is counter service we didn't leave a full tip, but since they bring your drinks and clear your table and YOU get your own tray, we left a little something last time...I'll be at CSR this weekend too (Sunday thru Friday of next week actually)

Renee, if you are going this year and are on the DDP, tips are included at the PM. If you are going next year, we don't know yet.

Tip is not mentioned for CS resturants because I think Pepper Market is the only CS resturant that a tip is charged.

To sum up tip will not be included other than at Pepper Market which is a one off!

Correct, the tip is only included at the PM because it is the only CS to charge one.

Also the tip is automatically added to your bill when you pay after you eat so you do not have to leave money on the table unless you want too. Take out does not charge you a tip through. Just tell them at the podium you are doing take out and they will give you a different slip then those eating at PM.

You get one entree, one dessert per CS credit. So you can't load up unless you want to pay. They will stamp your ticket when you order your food.

Cafe Rix Quick Service is the other QS place. They have good pastries, desserts, sandwiches, pizzas, etc. Also fountain drinks and bottled drinks plus coffees.
