Which one? It will be me, DH and DD(barely4). Six nights. Also Hoop-Dee-Do or Fantasmic dinner. Thanks for your opinions!

other than theming (which is something only you can decide which you prefer) the big difference is a big spread out resort w/multiple bus stops and potentially long walks to the main building/pool or a quaint smaller resort w/a single bus stop and minimal walks to the main building/pool... after staying at pop century last year and cbr the year before, we opted for the smaller resort as we liked the closeness of everything at pop and did not care for the long trek to refill our mug at cbr...

I would say POFQ. I didn't like CSR. I felt kind of isolated but POFQ is very nice and we loved it. I'm sure you'll like either one. We also loved the waterslide at POFQ and we took a carraige ride all around POFQ and PORS. It was great.

I think your child will enjoy the pool at POFQ. The slide is very "small" kid friendly. It goes slow and it's not so high.

POFQ is very pretty and quaint. POFQ is very charming and romantic, especially when you take the boat to DD at night when the full moon is out.

The resort is very compact, so there really is no bldg that is very far from anything. Here are some pictures I'd like to share with you.

Since you daughter is so young, I agree that the POFQ would be best. I love both the POFQ and the CSR and I sure when your daughter gets a bit older she will enjoy the CSR very much.

Love those pix, Fantasia! They are making me very excited about my upcoming stay at FQ!

We loved CSR when my DS was 12.It was really like a Deluxe Lite. We were in Cabanas & everything was very convienent. We loved the Dig Site & the Pepper Market.
We are trying FQ in a week or so & chose it because we wanted to try something we hadn't tried before & we liked the compact size of the resort. We also liked the idea of a boat to DTD as DS (16) and I plan to do a couple evenings at PI for the Adventurers Club & Comedy Warehouse.

My experience so far ahs taught me you can't go to horribly wrong with a WDW resort.

Thank you so much for sharing the pics Fantasia. It was so sweet of you! It does seem more appropriate for Isabelle.

What about Hoop-dee-doo? Has anyone been? Is it better for a 4 yo. than Fantasmic?

Thanks everyone for your great opinions! :flower:

I would go for POFQ. The compact style resort, the theming and overall atmosphere is excelent and is more "kid" based. CSR is more "adult" geared, and is way way to spread out to be hauling your kid around in...

great pics fantasia... LOVE the photo of the pool at night! thanks for sharing! :)

re: HDDR vs Fantasmic... DEFINITELY HDDR!!! it is our family's ALL TIME favorite must-do! it's great fun! the humor is silly and slapstick and appeals to a vast cross section of ages... my son (7yo at the time) literally laughed 'til he fell off his chair! i've been kicking myself for not going sooner! LOL!

fantasmic was good... i really enjoyed it... it was a bit "dark" for the kids... ds was very nervous throughout and was getting really upset that mickey was in danger... his heart was pounding out of his chest, and not in a good way... we loved the ending though... *whew* i'm glad we waited 'til they were 7&9yo before taking them... when they were 4&6 we had tix (thru FDP) and gave them away just before the show started and we were glad we did! (it would have meant nightmares for sure!)

enjoy your trip :)

CSR get my vote. CSR is not as spread out as many here would like you to think. And now that they provide golf carts to bring you to and from your room to the main building, the walks are up to you. Check out buzz's site for all the info

It is a much smaller resort and everything is so close. The theme is so cool and there is so much to look at in the food court. The pool is great for a little one. My daughter loves playing in the kiddie pool.

My daughter and I are going alone this trip and staying at the FQ.

Good luck!

We stayed in POR(Dixie Landings) in May of 2000 and CSR Easter week 2003.

The first night at POR we went to Epcot and waited 1 1/2 hour for the bus (shared with POFQ), back to the resort after Epcot closed. POR was nice but, seemed like we were always waiting for the bus.

We never waited more than 15min for a bus to or from CSR.

Nice pictures, Fantasia.
