CSR-mid day break for a swim?

We will be staying at CSR in july. In the past we have only stayed at CR in the summer time...and quite often came back in the afternoon for a midday swim when it got too hot...is this possible (time wise) at CSR or will we waste too much time in the day traveling back to the resort??

It's very possible. CSR is only 5 mins from AK, MGM and Epcot and 10 mins from MK.
