CSR Casitas or Cabanas?

If I am lucky enough to get my request of either one, which would you suggest and why?

Please note that there will be a National Judo competition during our stay.

I would make my choice dependent on what is important to you

We are not pool people- so casitas was great for us- close to the pepper market and main building

If you are pool people and want to be closer to that and the dig site - I would choose cabannas

We prefer the cabanas because they tend to be close to the things we use most.

My DH and I have stayed six times (soon to be seven...come on September 1). The first time we stayed, we were put in Casitas (can't remember if it was 1 or 3). We loved this section with the courtyards and the fountains. Every year since, we have asked to be in the Castias, and we request building 4 or 5 because we like to be near the quiet pool and the spa/fitness center.

We enjoy the cabana side 8B or 9A. We like it there as they have a beach/sandy area with hammocks. We also enjoy the quiet pools near the rooms. I'm certain you'll enjoy your stay no matter which area your in. Enjoy !

Casitas remind me of the mansion sections of what used to be Dixie Landings. There is just something about the manicured grounds and fountains that seem so appealing, but walking to the cabanas for beach time, hammocks and peace is wonderful also. Arghh

Decisions, Decisions! Why did Disney have to be so darn tootin' creative?!

I really enjoyed Casitas (I can't remember if we were in 4 or 5, but it was close to the quiet pool). Everytime we walked past the lion fountains, I was still amazed that something so uppity looking was at a moderate resort. Being close to the quiet pool also meant we were farther from the conference center, as, on a couple of evenings, there were some very noisy get-togethers in the courtyard.

Have taken some furniture polish and sprayed it in the air, so it smells like I was cleaning
