CSR Casitas 3

[Bride In The Attic]

DH is off to CSR tomorrow for a convention (unfortunately w/o me - no fair! ). He just called CSR and they told him he is in Casitas 3....how is this location? We are Dis vets but have never stayed at CSR. Looking at the map it looks like it is close to the convention center but what are the views like in this section of the resort.

Any thoughts/experiences with Casitas 3?

Having wandered through most of the Casitas area while were down there, I would say most of the views are very nice. Even the rooms that face the parking lot look over nice little gardens. Ours faced a garden that looked over the parking lot, though our room actually faced the courtyard, and not the parking lot. (think right angles)

Half of casita 3 overlooks Lago Dorado and half over looks fountains and courtyards. It is close to the main building and the convention center with a good walk to the pool area.

This is a great location. I stayed in Casita 3 on my last trip. I had a view of Lago Dorado and it was a two minute walk to El Centro. You may have a lake view or a courtyard or parking lot view. It appears most of the rooms are courtyard, which are very nice.
