We are planning a budget trip this summer & are trying to stick to as any CS choices as possible.

What are some good CS choices that offer a nice dinner choice? & what are the dinner choices that you would suggest? We generally like turkey or grilled chicken sandwiches, burgers, salads, roasted chicken & veggies, pizza, etc...

So far, we have listed:
-Tangierine Cafe=Epcot (I love the vegetarian platter & DF loves the shwarma combo platter)
-Captain Cook's=Poly (I love the adult grilled cheese & the turkey sandwiches there & DF really likes the cuban pork sandwich & pizza)

Where else would you recommend?

**Also, what are some inexpensive TS choices?

Thank you!:flower3:

Hey there Sugar!

If you're looking for good counter service food I'd have to recommend the food court at the Caribbean Beach Resort!

My family and I just took a vacation in November and we stayed at the C.B.R. and because this was a secondary trip we decided to try to spend less money than our usual April trip.

We were really impressed by the different types of food that were offered ... pizza, chinese, pasta, baked goods ... nice! Prices are ... well, it's a little more because it's Disney but in the scope of things ... cheap!

I think you'll really enjoy it! We did because there was something for everyone!

I Hope it helps a little!

I really like Cosmic Rays at MK. The rotisserie chicken is really good:cool1:

:cutie: Thanks! We've actually stayed at CBR before, but we never ate at their food court for some reason. Is there a website that might list their menu items?

You can check out the menus at wdwinfo.com or allears.net!

I'm already picking out what I'm going to order at various CS for my trip in August! :goodvibes

:goodvibes Our favorite CS anywhere is Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD. The portions are large (great for sharing), they have real good sides like roasted veggies, ceasar salad, great fries and the food is delicious, fresh and hot. We usually go at least twice per trip and this summer (budget trip for us, too) maybe 3 times. My husband and I usually share a pizze or a sandwich and then get a side or 2 to share.....Have a great trip!

I like the bbq pork sandwiches at Pecos Bill's in MK and also at the Flametree (?I think that's the name?) at AK.

TANGIERINE CAFE
Morocco - World Showcase - Epcot

The Shawarma platter is excellent and even enough to share and then find something else in the worldshowcase to share. That way you get to try different foods. This is how I was introduced to hummus (my husband ordered the platter) and now I love it.

What we love to do is get different small things all around WS and share them. This way we get to try many different things.

I look at the menus over on allears.net.

Have fun.

try Pecos Bill's or Cosmic Ray's in the MK, both have fixins bars to add a little more flavor to your burger. Beaches n Cream and Liberty Inn are also good.

Roast chicken can be found at Cosmic Ray's and we had a decent one at the POFQ food court last trip.

Fish and Chips ant the England Pavilion.

Brats at the German Pavilion.

Several different items at Sunshine Seasons.

Barbecue pork sandwich at Pecos Bills

Ribs at Flame Tree

I second Cosmic Rays in MK. Also, in Epcot, try the Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavillion. A lot of good choices there. At DHS we like Pizza Planet where we get Pizza and salad.
