CS on DxDDP

I read this in another post:

That's the first time I've heard that. We will have DxDDP on our upcoming trip ......just wondering if that's true Not that we'll really need extra snack credits

It appears to be true only during free dining, when the policy goes into effect that TS credits can be swapped for CS meals plus snacks or merchandise - not on a regular basis.
