Anyone have any info on a recent dining experience to the crystal palace? I usually don't splurge on buffets but it's one of the only reservations left for my birthday. I read somewhere that it's 40 dollars a person which I'm okay with but trying to double check the price for dinner? Also if anyone has any insight on the experience it's self or if anyone has spent their birthday there!

We were there for my dd when she turned 3. It was a great celebration and she got a birthday card signed by the characters. I had preordered a cake that was delicious. I happen to love CP the food is usual buffet but its nice to try some different things

NOTE: In most cases, one goes for the characters and suffers through the food. At
CP, the food is above average, with a wide variety. Although it is very overpriced, the
food is acceptable; the characters have great interaction. If you must do a character
meal, this is best choice for food - next to Tusker House and 1900 Park Fare. Since
it is a character meal, beware of a very noisy environment with kids running around
everywhere. Remember, one goes to such meals for the characters.

The dinner and lunch are over $40/person. The closer you get more places WILL open, espically 72-24 hours out.

We were there last month for dinner (early June 2016). I believe the cost was $41.99 per person, but I'm not absolutely sure about that. We had the DDP, so I wasn't paying too much attention. I was celebrating my birthday, and even though nothing was mentioned upon check in, I did get a birthday card signed by the characters. I also got a cupcake with a candle. I barely touched the cupcake, because I was full from the food I had already eaten, including the desserts.

We all really enjoyed the food. Meeting Winnie the Pooh and gang was so fun! The whole experience was worth it for us. We've only been to WDW twice, and it's the second time we've been to Crystal Palace. The first time was 5 years ago, and since we enjoyed it so much then, we suggested it for my sister and family, who joined us for their first time to WDW on this past trip.

I've only ever been for breakfast (great!) but one thing I'll say is CP is very good with celebrations My husband and I went there back when we were dating for his 21st and he got a card and a cupcake and they sang to him. He had a fantastic time and afterwards he said to me "You know, I never thought I'd spend my 21st birthday with Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, but I have to say I had the best time." Have fun on your birthday!

The characters were great. The food was okay. My daughter still loves her bday card from Pooh and friends. The cupcake with candle was a nice touch, though the buffet desserts tasted better. When we were done eating, we were able to step out and join the crowd for Wishes which started about 5 minutes later. It was a pretty great evening.

we went a few months ago... in May and always go for dinner...and it was great as usual. We are two adults this trip and had a blast with the characters too...my favorite food there is the beef and the salmon...and the pasta with seafood in it...the rest are good too ..but I always go back for seconds on that...our wait person was fantastic and chatted with us ...very nice experience

I love the food at CP! Its always delicious! I love the characters and the atmosphere. I think its a great place to celebrate a bday. Be sure to indicate its your bday when you make the ADR.

I spent my 60th Birthday there for dinner back in 2013. We always go to Crystal Palace when we travel to WDW because my wife LOVES Eyeore and it just so happened that we had made the reservations for my birthday there. When we had made the reservations my wife had told the Planner that we were going to be at WDW for my birthday, it seemed they were ready for me. The table had birthday confetti on it. When I got up to get my food, my wife mentioned to our server that I was celebrating my 60th birthday that day. When I returned to our table, the server was standing there with a big grin on his face. He motioned in the air to someone and suddenly an announcement came across the restaurant "Ladies and Gentlemen, please help us to wish a special young man a Happy 60th Birthday" Suddenly I was surrounded by all of the characters and they pulled me out of my chair and I had my own parade around the CP. I was then given a Birthday Card and a little cake with a candle with their signatures and they took a picture with me and the whole gang. Best birthday ever.

I enjoy Crystal Palace. I usually do breakfast there. Love Pooh's Puffed French toast!
Birthday's at CP are fun. I have eaten there on several birthdays the last few years, this year included.
Staff and characters are always great.

I am really excited for Crystal Palace pre park opening breakfast buffet. My husband is a huge breakfast fan so I had to get it and Ohanas!

The Beakfast Lasagna was amazing when we went for the character breakfast years ago.

When you make adrs online, there should be a section where it asks if youre celebrating something. Not sure if they still have this, i assume they did...but if they dont, you might want to call instead.

They don't unfortunately, only if there are any allergies or special requests.
