Ok, so my first character experience..tell me all about it please..
Made my ressies for lunch at 3:30..
Only 5 more days!!!

How exciting for you!!! We are also leaving Monday 1/16 and have a character dinner planned for Liberty Tree Tavern....

But I digress..If you are a Winnie the Pooh and friends fan, you are going to love this lunch. The character interaction is very good (you may have to be patient and wait for them to get to your table, but once they do, my experiences have been that they spend a good amount of time with you and don't rush). My favorite pooh character is Piglet and last time we had lunch at CP, we were eating and I didn't realize Piglet was behind me until he put his hands on my shoulders. I made a big thing of it, which made Piglet make a big thing of me....it was priceless....my daughter (14 at the time), was embarrassed to death, but she still to this day talks about it!

Another time we went for breakfast and my son (6 at the time) was having a tough morning (tired and over excited), and was very sad. When Eeyore came over, I told him about my son. Eeyore just kept shaking his head, pointing at my son and himself and gave my son the biggest hug.. My son is now 12 and still remembers that day.

As for the food, we are more lunch than breakfast people. We did really like the breakfast, but loved the selection of foods at lunch...My son is a picky eater and he found a lot to eat between the regular buffet and the kids buffet.

I don't think you can go wrong with CP, especially if you are a Pooh fan!

we have done crystal palace a few times and have not been disappointed,
they have a great kids buffet, i agree character interaction is good. the
only downfall to this restaurant is even with adr's be prepared to wait.
it is very popular so we have always waited. have a magical time.

That's why I chose this one..I donated my kidney to my cousin 10/27/05 and the one thing we have in common is our love of Eeyore..me a 37 year old and him at 62..HaHa..
He gave me this trip as a gift..so, of course I had to go see Eeyore..Our ressie is Thurs. 1/19 at 3:30..
I cannot wait! :cool1: :cool1:
thanks for the info!! :)

 What a kind thing to do. There is no better place than WDW to celebrate. CP is a beautiful restaurant. You'll love it. Have a great trip!!!

Crystal Palace is always a stop for us! The character interaction is great and they also have a little parade around the dining room during one of the songs that the little ones can particiapte in. We love Eeyore, too!

We love love love the Crystal Palace! The setting is beautiful, the characters a whole lot of fun and the food was really yummy! On our first trip because we thought we were having so much fun anyway I canceled our breakfast there :scared1: . Thought we would save that money, but when I came home I really regretted it! So on our 2nd and last trip, we went twice ::yes:: ! First for a late breakfast on our first day which was brilliant (thanks for the advice to all the wonderful Diser's!). Then for an early dinner on MNSSHP day! Both days ended up being our favorite days overall :flower: . The breakfast was both day one and an emh day, so we saw the opening show over the Mickey floral then had a few hours in a very non crowded park that morning before heading over for breakfast. We are 2 adults and although we loved our character interaction, specially since it was our very first time, it was also a whole lot of fun and warm fuzzys to watch all the little kids around us interact with the Pooh gang. Just gorgeous beautiful moments :goodvibes .

A perfect morning in my opinon. Hipp Hipp Hooray :cheer2: ! Your going to have fun!
