We are looking to eat lunch at Crystal Palace during July trip. I was wondering what time is best for lunch there is? What is lunch there like? Thanks. Less than 2 months to our trip!!!!!!!!!!!!

If DD (3 1/2) hadn't had a major meltdown 20 minutes before our PS I'd be able to give you lots of 1st hand info since we were just in WDW 2 weeks ago. However, I will pass on the information I gathered and hope it helps. From other posts I found that it was best to either get a very early PS or a very late one. Crystal Palace serves lunch from 11:30-2:45. From other character meals I've found the food is replenished frequently and the characters are "working" the room the entire time. I've also read that it can get loud and crazy but then I'd expect nothing less than that at a character meal. Here's the standard menu:

Sliced Roast Beef, Salami, Turkey and Ham
Tossed Salad Fixings
Caesar Salad
Sliced American, Cheddar and Swiss Cheese
Chicken Salad
Tuna Salad
Tomato and Mozzarella Salad
Cole Slaw

Just booked a ps today for CP - early lunch on 17/7 - it is an EMH day at MK and we figured it would work well - can escape to a sit down lunch when it starts getting busy - and then off somewhere else - thinking off AK.


Looks like you're in the world same time as us - perhaps we'll see you there.

We ate at the CP a week and a half ago. We had the 11:30 lunch seating. We did have to wait about 15 minutes after arriving in the HOT Florida sun but once inside it was cool and pleasant. Piglet and Eeyore came over almost immediately. Pooh followed and we did have to wait for Tigger. He came after dessert. We thought the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the restaraunt. We will definitely return. Maybe to try breakfast. (the latest seating probably)

We usually have lunch at CP at least once every trip and have always found it to be really good. Food is always fresh and plentiful and there is always lots of character interaction. We have eaten at various times from 11.30 till 2.00 and it is always packed.
