We booked a breakfast there this time around. Those of you who have eaten there..did you enjoy it? We have two boys (12 and 8) and were wondering if they would like it there.

Thanks!

We went there in 2007, right after our kids turned 3 and 5. They had a great time!

I'm just worried your boys are a little older and may not like "Winnie the Pooh" characters.

You could always do Chef Mickey's, they have Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Mickey and Minnie. We have done breakfast here over the last two trips, and I highly recommend it. :thumbsup2

I wish they had a more "boyish" character meal, something like Pirates of the Caribbean or even Toy Story.

What time is your breakfast booked for? We had the first seating before the parks open which was neat to take pictures of main street and the castle with no people in the photos. We have had breakfast and lunch at the Crystal Palace and enjoyed them both..the food is good and the atmosphere is very nice.

Had breakfast there this past August. DD's were 14 &12. They had a hoot. Eeyore is DD14 favorite character so this was perfect.
The food was quite yummy since it was standard breakfast fare. I was surprised that the food was hot. Alot of the time I find buffet food to be luke warm at best.
We had an 8am ressie so we one of the first tables seated.

We were there Sunday and it was our #1 character meal - also ate at 1900 PF and Akershus. What characters do your boys like?

Its a must do for us each trip. DS will be 8 this time and he still wants to go. I think he gets that its a special place for us.

The food is one of the best for a character meal - even as an adult only group, this is the one character breakfast we continue to do just for the food.

They are pretty much open to anything Disney which includes Winnie the Pooh characters. Thanks for your input! great to know it is an enjoyable restaurant :o)

Hi! our reservations are at 10:10 a.m. we will probably head off early in the morning and spend some time there..that particular day in an "open" day for us.

Thanks for your thoughts!

The boys grew up with Tigger in their bedrooms..Winnie too and Eeyore as well. Those would be their favorites to date.

We took our DS there in January (for the dinner, though, not the breakfast) on our trip celebrating his 13th birthday. This was, hands down, our best TS character dinner of the week (eclipsed only by the 'Ohana breakfast, which took #1 spot overall :)). Even being 13, DS was DEFINITELY not too old to appreciate the Pooh characters.

Frankly, I'm 35 years old, and couldn't help falling in love with them all. Tigger was lots of fun as he bounced around the restaurant, Pooh and Piglet were so gentle and sweet, Eeyore....well, even Eeyore looked like he was having fun! :goodvibes

And YUM...the food was excellent. :thumbsup2

Get your boys an autograph book, or make them some autograph cards. Its always fun to see the characters when your mission is to collect as many signatures as you can.

Enjoy your trip!!

We were there last August and the food was great, the service really good and the 6, 8, 12, 13, 15, 18, 22 year olds and us 2 middle aged folks were happy we went. The 6 & 12 were birthdays as well and got cards and cupcakes with breakfast

Honestly, Crystal Palace is our favorite character meal. There is something so heartwarming about the 100 Acre Wood characters, and I love seeing the delight on the faces of the young and old. So, I for one don't think your kiddos are too old for the characters.

In terms of the food, we enjoy each one of the meals served at Crystal Palace. While not big breakfast eaters, we have gone close to lunch to try the "breakfast" food. Lunch and Dinner are our favs, with both menus being relatively close. No matter what meal time you decide, I think CP is a wonderful place to enjoy :thumbsup2

Our kids loved it there and the food was really good too.

Here are some pictures just to give you an idea. :)
