So my DS 15 will be almost 16 when we go wants to go to CP. My kids were never interested in doing them before.

So my question is how is dinner here? From reading allears menu Im worried about there being food teenagers will eat. It sounds..different..
Is the dessert buffet have a good size variety too?

We love dinner at Crystal Palace! I'd say the food is pretty typical buffet food...nothing unusual. The dessert buffet has a pretty good variety, I'm sure you'll all find something to eat.

We just had dinner there last week. The dinner options were okay. Roast beef, pork, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, alot of salady things. The desserts were ice cream, key lime pie, carrot cake, and apple crisp. There were several types of bread, mac and cheese, pizza. There was quite a variety now that I think about it. We had an 8PM dinner reservation and when we were done we walked out to the porch and watched Wishes. It was a wonderful way to spend the last night.

The Crystal Palace is a must-do for our family when we go to the magic kingdom. WE all have different tastes in our family and we are all always satisfied. The dessert bar has plenty of great offerings (my favorite is the coconut flan!) I would highly recommend it for all age groups.

We were plesently surprised on the quality of the food - for a buffet. There are plenty of choices for every taste. We always are more than satisfised. I think it's great that you DS wants to go.

We love the CP,from there food to the Chacter Interactions ait a great way to have dinner.

We also love Crystal Palace and have done numerous meals here over the years. The selections for a buffet have always been very nice and it's one of the buffets that DH actually likes and was very impressed by last month. I think your DS will have a good time, as will the rest of you.

Thanks everyone! Sounds great and I will be making my ADR as soon as my 90 days are up! My two teenagers have no idea about our trip, I just asked my DS a hypothetical question of where he would want to eat on his first night in the MK and CP was his answer, since we had never eatten there! All these yrs of going to WDW and they wait till they are teenagers to go to a charachter meal, I find that so funny, my DS is a big boy for his age, 6'2 205lbs, long hair, into 80's rock and now apparently Winnie the Pooh! LOL!
DD 12 going 17 is Miss Priss, I know she wont mind at all, she will just be horrified when her stepfather hams it up with Pooh Gang! She is at that age that everything we do embarresses her! LOL!

We had dinner there last week and it was my husband's favorite meal. He's a very picky eater and absolutely loved the food on the buffet. My kids liked it a lot as well.

I think it's great that your ds wants to go! CP is one of our favorites. The food is very good, lots of choices and the character interaction is the best, entertaining for kids and adults.
