Me and my friends are going back to Disney in September with the Free Dining Bounceback offer. We have all our ADR's made but I was reconsidering one. We have breakfast at Crystal Palace booked but we have eaten here twice before. I was considering changing it to Donald's Safari breakfast at Tusker House instead. Has anyone tried both of these to compare??

Two of my party are vegetarian and already love Tusker House for lunch. How does breakfast compare? How does the character interaction compare between the two places?

Thanks!:wizard:

Crystal Palace is our favorite breakfast - good buffet, bright/open atmosphere, good interaction with Pooh characters, + we like getting an 8:05 adr on a non-emh day so we're done in time for rope drop. We've tried Tusker House brkfst a few times and we don't particularly care for it - we don't like the atmosphere (cramped seating in a small room) and the character interaction is very poor/rushed.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. We enjoyed both breakfasts, and an 8:00 AM reservation on a non-EMH day is a great way to get in a character breakfast and still be one of the first in the park.

Food is good at both places, really depends on which park you want to be in and what characters you want to see.

Agree with the PP, don't think you can go wrong with either. Love them both! I think we like CP more for the food, and Tusker House more for the juice..food is still good, but that juice keeps us coming back each trip! :)

Thanks a lot! We have an 8:05 ADR for Crystal Palace so I think we will just stick with that. I almost forgot how great it is to get into the park before opening and walk down Main Street with it practically empty. I don't think the feeling would be quite the same at Animal Kingdom!

Not the same, but interesting enough. Especially with the Tusker House at the back of the park -- you wind up walking through a fair portion of the AK with just the other breakfast guests and the CMs herding you down the right paths. :)
