Which one would be better for dinner?

Which characters are there don't matter to me because I just want to see some. :D

My family prefers Chef Mickey's, but that means leaving a park. If you're short on time in the parks, Crystal Palace is fine. In terms of characters, you'll see about the same amount at both restaurants. You just can't beat the monorail going overhead and the fun napkin twirling at Chef Mickey's though.

Our family likes CM and I have wanted to try the CP for dinner for a while. So in November, I made ADRs for both! :goodvibes Last trip we skipped CM and the kids revolted! They missed it. I have done the CP breakfast, but we are not really big breakfast eaters, so dinner suits us better.

We have been to CP twice and CM once. We much prefer the food at Crystal Palace over CM. THe character interaction was better at CP for us too! :thumbsup2

We love the monorail too, but more than that, kids are more into Mickey and gang than Pooh and gang, so that pretty much decides CM over CP for us. I have tried every trip to get to CP, but CM wins out. This time I thought I stood a chance since we will be on thefree DDP, but guess what? O'Hana breakfast w/ Stitch beat out CP! Well, at least we will not have to wait to see certain characters in the parks!

Argghh difficut choice, CP has a little more choice with the carved meats, but not a lot in it, CM has the twirling and the monorail. I think it is really down to where is best for what you are doing that day.

Crystal Palace wins by a landslide!!! :thumbsup2 Great food, great service and great character interaction. :woohoo: This is a must for me on every trip and actually have both a dinner and a breakfast planned for my next trip! pooh: :tigger: :eeyore:

Unfortunately I cannot say the same for Chef Mickey's for dinner. Tried it once, since we had good luck at breakfast, but never again. :sad2: Food was awful, :crazy2:  in an hour of sitting there, only 1 character wisked by, and the service was the worst I had ever had on Disney property. :furious: Waiter came by once for a drink order, then never again. Had to ask another CM to find him to get my check, and when he finally did show up, he threw it on the table and left. I guess he thought since I was dining solo, he would not get a big enough tip. He got no tip and the manager was told why.
