I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on crystal palace dinner...we have been for b and L but, never dinner.:)

Most people love it, but we didn't. Maybe it was just a bad night, but it wasn't even what I would describe as average.

Breakfast is a must-do for us we absolutely love it. Have booked again for our first morning in October.

Dinner we have done twice, IMHO the salads and meat are fine, nice 1ts place to eat in MK. Desserts we all agree are poor and never seems that well re-filled and cleaned to me. My two children love it and DS chose to celebrate his 11th birthday there but I would do breakfast over dinner every time.

I think I remember that the menus for lunch and dinner are pretty much the same, or at least they used to be. I do love their breakfast, but found both lunch and dinner to be very good also. I would only choose lunch or dinner because breakfast is not my favorite meal of the day.

we have only eaten dinner there. We will have our first breakfast this year. We always liked the food. I wouldn't consider it spectacular but good. We usually go mainly for the characters.

We ate there Sunday night and didn't not care for it. The chicken was tasteless and dry. The green beans and carrots were chewy. This was our worst meal of the trip. Could have been an off night, but have no plans to return here for dinner. Ate here for breakfast in Nov and thought it was very good.

We ate at CP for both breakfast and dinner on the same day and hands down breakfast was better.

Dinner wasn't bad, just average.

Bon appetit!

We've done dinner twice and lunch once. We definitely preferred dinner. While the majority of the selections were the same, the dessert selections at dinner were much better than at lunch. I had been dreaming of red velvet and carrot cakes etc... only to find a bunch of cookies in their place. Also, there were a few extras at dinner like peel 'n' eat shrimp that we were not offered at lunch.

We tried CP dinner last year and it was ok (average-at-best) - we've come to the conclusion that we don't particularly care for dinner buffets at WDW. We love CP for breakfast - it's our favorite and is a "must do" on our trips.

We really enjoy dinner at CP. This is one of our must-do's each trip. We actually prefer dinner to breakfast. If you have enjoyed lunch, then you will probably enjoy dinner as well.

Happy dining! :goodvibes

We have had dinner twice at CP. The first time we had dinner there, it was because it was the only reservation I could get. I was really disappointed because I have read so many wonderful things about breakfast. I almost cancelled the reservation at the last minute. The menu didn't really appeal to me. I am SO glad that I didn't cancel. The food was FANTASTIC! I actually had dreams about the adobo pork after our visit. I couldn't wait to get back...for dinner. When we returned for dinner during our last dinner it was just as good as I had remembered.

We've had dinner at CP three times on three different WDW visits. It's pretty standard buffet fare, but we found most of it to be well prepared and served at appropriate temperatures. I prefer it to dinner at H&V, which we've experienced twice and didn't particularly like either time (Fantasmic Dinner Package).

We do at least one dinner buffet each visit because I like very plain food and my BFF is much more adventurous! She usually finds something a bit different to try at CP dinner, and stick to my plain old basics! *LOL*

We have done dinner there twice and each time it was just "ok". Food is nothing spectatcular... but then again, I am never impressed with the food quality at any character dinners.
If your kids like Pooh, and charatcers, it will be a hit. I say go for it...

It's my DH favorite of all the buffets. I like all kinds of food, but am a picky eater and do enjoy this restaurant. Just remenber it's a buffet and the food is your typical buffet style food. Salads, soups, casseroles, carved meats, vegetable dishes and some yummy desserts.

We've done breakfast and dinner several times. Have never done lunch. We will be trying lunch this fall. I'm sure I will not be disappointment.

The dinner at Crystal Palace is fine. It's not spectacular, but it isn't terrible, either. If you want a character meal and like Pooh and his friends, it's worth trying, but I don't view Crystal Palace as a premiere dining destination.

In 5 trips, we've always done Crystal Palace for breakfast and we love it. My mom is a picky eater and with her, you can not mess up breakfast too much. We always try to go on the day that MK has EMH.

DD7 would disagree with you! To her, CP is THE premiere dining destination in all of WDW.:rotfl:When she was 3, she was terrified of the characters until she met Pooh and Piglet. They completely changed her outlook. Now she picks CP as her choice every time we go......
