Been to Crystal Palace before and really thought the food was great, but considering Tonys for something different. My kids are 15 and 18 so the characters are not a requirement. How is Tonys and is it a good alternative to Crystal Palace?
I would have to say Cryatal Palace, while Tonys is different it is basically just regular italian food. Also it is a little expensive for beining italian. Crystal palace is the better choice i would say, and I am going there next week for my birthday.
Tony's dinner for family of four (2 kids on kids menu) was $70 with tip. I had spaghetti, DH had the seafood in red sauce(something de la mer I think). My spaghetti with a meatball was like $17. Granted the portion was huge but still. No salad included or anything. Just looked at the menu from fall of '05, the spaghetti is now $19
We've been to Tony's 3 times and have had nothing but a wonderful experience. First time was just DH and me, nice romantic dinner for just the two of us. Second time there were 10 of us, even with so many the waitress was amazing and so was the food. Third time was DH, DD, DDbest friend and me. Again everytime was great.
As for the Crystal Palace, we will be going there this year to try it out!!!!
Like the Forrest Friends? Then do the CP. Just want food and no characters? Then Tony's. The food in both places is very good but the real difference is the characters. Tony's has a real "Old authentic" (Like we used to imagine an Italian Restaurant should be in the 50's) feel to it.
