I'm trying to decide which one to book for dinner at MK. It will be 4 adults, no kids, and we'll be there in October. Any opinions or suggestions? Thanks! :goodvibes

No option for both??? We had basically the same dilemma and just opted to do both rather than make the tough decision. :goodvibes

We like both, but since you said dinner...we like Tony's for dinner (although this is controversial, but we've never had a bad meal or service here) and CP for breakfast. :)

My vote is for the Crystal Palace. Have always been very happy with the food here. This is a must dine for me at least once a trip.

Tried Tony's a few years ago and was not that thrilled. Had better pasta at Olive Garden.

Interesting. I despise Olive Garden yet I've never had a problem with Tony's.

Prefer Crystal Palace, characters, buffet food pretty basic but offers variety to appeal to more people. Our group is mixed on Tony's (some like, some meh, some hate) but agree you can get better Italian almost anywhere else (Carrabba's, Maggiano's). FWIW.

looks like the far majority are saying CP...I'll add it to my ADRs! Thanks everyone :goodvibes

I totally agree with you. Hate Olive Garden and I also have never had a problem at Tony's.

Crystal Palace was very good for breakfast but it was just ok for dinner. It gets noisy and too crazy for me for dinner. I would rather have a nice sit down dinner at Tony's.

There's a reason that CP is running away with this poll. Tony's gets almost universally poor reviews. One wonders how they remain open.

That is your opinion. I feel that CP is vastly over rated on this board. The food is ok but not as great as everyone says it is. Also, I too really like Tony's. Buy the way don't worry too much because Tony's is PACKED everytime I go I don't see it closing at all. Different strokes for different folks.

I've been hearing about the wonders of CP for years and finally got to eat there last month for dinner before MVMCP. I was underwhelmed.

I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here at all. Dd and I are trying Tony's in July....her choice for her bday dinner. I'll see how they compare then.

When we went in September, my only reason for eating at Tony's was to get a porch seat to watch Spectromagic. To my very pleasant surprise, that meal turned out to be one of the best meals we had! I was in shock because I had read such bad reviews on the place. I am so glad I took a chance on it...when we go back, it will be Tony's over CP--and my husband and I both have loved our CP experiences, but Tony's trumped it.
