Need one more character meal....any opinions on either of these? Thanks.

Have been to both, and I don't think one is any better than the other. Both are fun, and it really depends on which characters that your family prefers. Donalds features the traditional Disney characters while CP has the Poohs.

We prefer the original Disney characters, and therefore like Donalds better. The food is essentially the same at both of them.

We've been to Donald's and really liked it. Never been to Crystal Palace but the food there looks heavenly. Maybe a change of pace? Anyone else?

Not a big fan of buffets but, I thought the Crystal Palace was great! Get the penne pasta !

I have eaten at both. I'm avoiding buffets this trip, because I thought they were not that good, but fun to experience. I liked CP better. The food was a whole lot better too! We had to wait 45 minutes to be seated at DB, and the food was horrible, floppy bacon, etc. Plus, at CP, the characters were more interactive with each family. Plus, I liked the look and feel of CP better too.

We have done both and LOVE both. The food is similar in that it has a great variety. Both have hot and cold options. Both have characters and fun interaction. I think it comes down to the kind of atmosphere you want and the characters you want to see. Donald's is more laid-back and silly...the CMs like to play little jokes on the kids and Donald dances around. CP is beautiful inside and is a basic character meal. Just depends on what you want. Both are great IMO.

I would say the Crystal Palace, the atmosphere is better, and the food was a bit more "gourmet" in my opinion.
Donald's breakfastosaurus was fun, but it was very hectic in there. The food was OK, but not quite as good as Crystal Palace. :thumbsup2

We did Crystal Palace as the first character meal we ever did. We took both of my kids but it was more for my DD (3 at the time) because Pooh was here favorite. The food was very good and the character interaction was one of the better one's that we have experienced. Probably second only to Chef Mickey's. I haven't been to Donald's but not knowing what else you have planned, I can tell you that I have heard a lot of good things about the character breakfast at EPCOT in Norway. It is more for the girls in the party since it is Princesses but I have been told it is really good.

Love lunch at the CP. Great food, nice atmosphere. They seem to always be behind and unorganized with the ADRs, but not enough to keep me away. Just be prepared to wait.

Hi .. we have done both, loved Crystal Palace - great character interaction and the food was yummy too! :thumbsup2

We really liked Breakfastosaurus because we thought the food was much better than CP. Plus it's the only place that has Donald Duck.
