Which do you prefer and why? I can't decide between the two. My only other Character meal is Princess Storybook breakfast. Thanks!!

but If i was doing just 1 it would have to be Chef Mickeys.... its hard to explain you just need to experience it.

We did both during our trip in January.

I really liked both places. I guess it depends on if you want to just hit CP while you are at MK or if you want to travel over to Chef Mickey's.

DH, DS8, and I really liked both places a lot. The Pooh characters were fun, so were the Mickey characters. Does your family have a preference for which characters you see?

I had read a fair amount of negative stuff about CM's before we left and I was starting to get nervous, but it was fine. We went on a Friday about 6:00. The food was hot and fresh and the place was clean (except the dessert bar).

I thought the selection of desserts at CP was better, but the other food (salads, entrees, veggies) was good at both places. I think when we go back we will go to both again. Really, I think you will be fine with either choice! :flower:

If I could only do one, it would be CM.

The food is very good (try the cheesy mashed potatoes..yum). The desserts are good & there are alot of choices. Its cool to see the monorail coming into the resort while you are eating. Also Mickey does a "parade" around the restaurant while they sing "celebrate" & everyone swings there napkins around. Its alot of fun.

We love them both. If we had to choose one, it'd be CM. Seemed a bit more spacious, and the napkin dance is fantastic.

Tigger also leads a dance at CP (well at breakfast he does.. not sure about other meals)

Minority vote here, but for dinner, we like the food and atmosphere at Crystal Palace better than Chef Mickey's. Twice we were seated at a corner table at Chef Mickey's and character interaction was very limited.

We like them both, however I think that Crystal Palace takes it for us.

Both CM and CP are noisy, but you don't have to do anything at CP for the birthday dance, at CM I feel dumb if I am not waiving my napkin (which takes away from eating :-) )

What characters do you want to see? Let that be your guide.

For lunch and dinner we go to CP. I don't like Chef Mickey's for dinner (blah food), but we do enjoy their breakfast. pirate: :earboy2:

We ate at both resturants last trip. If you are already in Mk then CP makes sense. Both are a lot of fun.

We did CM last May for dinner - make your PS for 5 o'clock - it's not at all crowded at that time so there is lots of character interaction. (and the food wasn't bad either!)

We did CP for lunch one year and it was great. The time we went it wasn't busy and the food was good. My DS loved it so much we did it again on another day of our vacation.

In Oct. we went to CM for dinner. We liked seeing Mickey & friends, but I was not crazy about the food. I thought the food was better at CP. There as a parade also at lunch at CP.

We prefer CM's. We've always found the food good and the character interaction doesn't seem as rushed as when we dined at CP.
