Crystal Palace or 1900 Park Fare?

Trying to decide between these two for a character breakfast. We've been to Crystal Palace before, and really enjoyed it, but thought we might try 1900 Park Fare this time around as we are staying at the GF. Any thoughts? How does the food compare? Are the characters at 1900 limited to Mary Poppins, Alice and Mad Hatter? Seems a little slim.

Nope - you also get winnie the pooh and tigger at the 1900 PF breakfast. We ate at both last year (but the 1900 pf supper) and loved 1900 way more. The character interaction is so much better. I prefer characters who speak instead of just wave and hug. the food was good, nothing out of this world, but we were there for the characters. try something new consider the supper too. the stepsisters are awesome.

I ate at both in 2010. I found 1900 park fare excellent for breakfast and the characters were more interesting. Though CP has the character parade. We loved madhatter too! Our goal was to do all character meals once before kids are too old but I would actually go back to 1900 park fare, askerhaus and crystal palace. Try something new and you won't regret it!

I agree. the characters at 1900 PF are awesome. Mad hatter is very funny. The food is great. They have real bacon! do you know how hard that is to find at disney? I think you should give this place a try since you havent been yet. I dont think you will regret your choice. Esp since your staying at GF.

Definitely 1900 Park Faire. DH and I like the food better (the kids don't really care either way). I think the PF characters are more entertaining and definitely more engaging. But part of it kind of depends on your kids' ages and whether they are into the characters. Most young kids would probably prefer to see the whole Pooh gang at CP, but bigger kids will get a kick out of the Mad Hatter.

CP has better food & a better selection for breakfast but 1900 was okay. 1900 doesn't have an omelet station, or at least I don't remember one (I might not have wanted eggs that day).
The character interaction was a lot better & fun (we are just 2 adults) at 1900, they had tiger & winnie the pooh as well when we were there.
I would try 1900 since you already did CP, unless being in the park already is easier too.
