After reviewing the crowd calendar that seems more accurate according to DISers, I changed my plans around to hit Magic Kingdom on a day it is "most recommended", which also happens to be the day of a MNSSHP. While I have been able to switch most of reservations around, I cannot get a single breakfast reservation for Crystal Palace on that date. It seems odd to me, because almost every other date I put in, I get at least one or two choices. I'm not particularly disappointed about not eating at CP, but it's making me nervous that I switched everything around, and MK is going to end up being the park of choice for that day. My DH suggested that it either has different hours for the MNSSHP, or that people who want to do MK, but not MNSSHP, want a super early start, so breakfast is more popular those days.
Anyone have any input on whether there is an explanation related to MNSSHP? Or whether a reservation for an in-park restaurant being impossible to get on a particular day has any predictive value for the crowd at that park on that day?
