Trying to decide on doing breakfast or lunch. We like to be at MK at rd but if we do a breakfast we might get a late start so we are trying to decide should be just do a late breakfast or early lunch. I haven't heard much about the lunch I have heard lots of good things about the breakfast. Which is better or about the same?

Personally I would do the lunch. I don't like to do to many breakfasts in my trip. I feel like it is expensive for breakfast food and I would rather spend the money on Lunch menu items. I think that the lunch has mostly the same items as the dinner does and it is good! I usually only do one breakfast and it is at Akershus because we really like to see the Princesses. I also don't like to waste any time at the Magic Kingdom since I feel like it has the most to do.

We enjoy having breakfast at Crystal Palace and scheduling our ADR for 8:00 AM. This way we can be in before rope drop and be done with breakfast about the time of official park opening and kind of ahead of the crowd at rope drop. We are also able to get some good pictures of the castle with few to no people in front of it.

I have to vote for breakfast! We have never been to lunch, as we normally do a brunch here around 10:30. They have a few standout items on the breakfast buffet that keep us coming back. So much so it has become a must do tradition each trip. We love the puffed french toast coated in cinnamon and sugar. Also, the veggie frittata is so savory and delicous. At least these are our favorites!! I'm sure their lunch would be yummy too, so happy choosing. I don't think you will go wrong with the CP!!:thumbsup2

If you are an early bird, try to book it for brkfst b4 the park actually opens. This would need to be a day that MK doesnt have magic hours. It will help you get an early start in that park that day. We did this for B B Boutique and it worked well.

We have done both and don't think you can go wrong with either. we tend to do lumch or dinner more than breakfast just because breakfast takes too much time out of the best time to get the main rides done.

if you go for an early breakfast, you can get some nice photos by the castle with VERY little crowds.

I've never had the breakfast but the lunch/dinner at CP has some of my favorite food in WDW!! If you've never had lunch there then I think you should try it!!!

We loved lunch at CP; it was our favorite meal of the trip. Lots of salad offerings for my daughter. Yummy mashed potatoes. The carving station had an incredible flank steak and really good pork loin. We were at WDW in September when the temperature was in the 90's and it was so nice to get a break from the heat at mid-day. Waitstaff was top notch and character interaction was quite good.

We've done lunch and dinner before and preferred lunch. We are going to try breakfast on our next trip. :goodvibes

We really enjoy breakfast at CP. We generally try to do it our first full day onsite. We have found that when it comes to the character buffets at WDW we prefer breakfast period. Not a fan of their lunch or dinner buffets. But that's just us.

I also would second the idea to get your reservation around 8am before rope drop. My family is not real big on getting up too early but they will get up and moving for a 8:10am CP ADR because it means walking down a relatively empty Main Street and some great pictures in front of the castle.

Go and enjoy! Give Pooh a hug for me!

The week we are there rd is at 8am. every morning, Except EMH that is at 7am. So normally I would do the breakfast at 8am but we would have to do the breakast at 7am which is impossible :sad2: That's why we were considering doing late breakast after we ride all the must sees before the crowds come in or wait for the first lunch. O just wasn't sure how the foods and which would be better!

We've eaten both lunch and breakfast at CP and prefer lunch. We're planning on having lunch there for our anniversary celebration in March.

We have always done breakfast and really like it. A must do each trip. We have done both 8am (on 9am RD days) but have also done 10:30 ADR's on EMH mornings. That way we have gotten 2 1/2 hrs of good touring in before a late "brunch". Even though we were the late seating, they kept fresh hot food coming out the whole time, which I had been worried about. Around 11:00 they did close down one side of the buffet, and started putting out lunch food, but they left the other brkfst side open (same food) and then we were able to try some lunch foods, too. (But were pretty full by then, though).
