DD really wants to do CP for lunch on our MK day. We've only done CP for breakfast on a previous trip, which we liked. Can anyone comment on the lunch buffet at CP?? What is really good there on the menu at lunch? Thanks!

It's a buffet with lots and lots of different things to choose from so you should enjoy many of the items. Some of those that stood out were;

the corn spoon bread
cinamon & lemon infusted rice
BBQ Pork tenderloin
rotissere chicken
citrus flank steak

and of course lots of desserts.

Enjoy!

I love their lunch and dinner selection. Its quite yummy! Their carved meat, mashed potatoes, vegis, salads, are quite tasty! And the best part, DESSERT! :) so good. You cant go wrong with crystal palace.

Hi do they serve the same buffet items on Christmas day? We are considering eating Christmas day lunch there next year. Either that or we will be at LTT, but thought the character meal would be more fun! Even though we are English and are used the traditional roast turkey we aren't bothered for next year as we will be at WDW!

Thanks for any advice :goodvibes

One of our favorites for food- very large selection, and even my picky eaters eat there.

I'll just say, of the various character meals I've experienced, this was the only buffet where the food was worth the price of admission.

Hello,

Below is a list of restaurants that in previous years offered holiday items on their menus Christmas Day.

I do not know if they will be offered in the future or if there are other restaurants that offer/will offer holiday items.

The Liberty tree Tavern is a good choice if you want Turkey, with the “fixins” as they offer the patriot platter at lunch and the family style dinner in the evening.

Buffet w/Holiday items:
1900 Park Fare
Biergarten Lunch and Dinner
Garden Grove (WDW Swan)
Trail's End Dinner Buffet

Family-Style with Holiday items
Whispering Canyon Cafe

A la Carte menu WITH holiday offerings:
Boatwright's Dining Hall
Captain's Grille Lunch and Dinner
Citricos
Flying Fish Cafe
Fulton's Crab House
Grand Floridian Cafe
Narcoossee's
Olivia's
Portobello Lunch
Portobello Dinner
The Wave Brunch
Todd English's Bluezoo
Wolfgang Puck Cafe Lunch
Wolfgang Puck Cafe Dinner
Wolfgang Puck, The Dining Room

We really enjoyed their food. The only downside we found was as a couple dining there, we had to wait longer since they had very few two-person tables. The food was worth it though. :thumbsup2 And DBF posing with his first characters, soooooo cute!

Thanks for reassuring me that CP would be good for lunch. I looked at the price and figured that I shouldn't book it unless I was sure it was worth it. Well, I just made our ADR for this restaurant. :) DD will be happy. Thanks all for your comments!
