Crystal Palace for dinner?

We ate there last year as our first dinner. We loved it! It's loud but fun! It also takes a long time! We were there almost 2 hours and Eeyore never made it to our table. We saw him on our way out the door. Great place to eat though!:thumbsup2

we went there last trip. just DW and I.

It was interesting, but as we were waiting for our reservation to be called, we were getting worried. A lady in FULL princess dress was setting waiting to get in with her daughter (NOT wearing princess dress) seemed more into it that her daughter was! hehehehehehe

The food was okay, a serve yourself buffet, and I was impressed that the had a lower buffet for the kids to be able to pick their own food.

the best part was the wicked step-mother and her two daughters! they are a riot!

the prince and princess seemed more interested in dancing and getting pictures taken! didn't interact that much.

it was fun, but we decided that once was enough!

(sorry, just realized that we went to 1900 Park Fair and not Crystal Palace, we cancelled our reservations at Crystal Palace after the 1900 PF dinner!)

thats why I put the last comment in my post. We talked with a CM after the dinner and figured that it would just be more of the same.

We (DP and I) were there Saturday for dinner....

We were seated a few minutes after our ADR time (they were telling people it could be from 15-20 minutes after).

The server got several other tables at the same time so drinks took a few minutes longer then they normally would.

Self serve buffet had a lot of nice entree options (salmon, chicken, carved beef and carved turkey, pasta premavera and pizza... also plenty of sides (broccoli, roasted potatoes and really good garlic mashed potatoes)

I actually had some of the meatballs and green beans from the kids buffet as well - DP had some of the Mac n' Cheese

Desserts:Key Lime pie, carrot and chocolate cakes, bread pudding and cobbler, Tira Misu, cookies and whole fresh fruit.

The only negative was that they ran out of bread for the buffet...

Everything else was tasty, plentyful and fresh...

We were two adults and took one or two photos with the characters but Poo, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore made several rounds of the dining room while we were there.

We'd do it again as it's one of a few TS restaurants in the MK and we were planning in staying late for Spectra Magic and Wishes

great location for MK in the eve....great characters/photos--predictable food;)

We did CP last month, a party of two adults and found it VERY LOUD!
It felt rushed and chaotic, I'd try for the early breakfast next time.
The food was medicore for the high price. Think I'd check out the LTT next time instead.

We love CP for dinner! They have a pasta with asiago cream sauce that I really like, and what's not to like about Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger? Also, after dinner, you can head out to watch Wishes. That sounds like a great evening to me!

DH and I ate there for our last dinner - I was thinking about canceling because I wasn't sure how much we would like the character interaction...

Well I'm SO glad we didn't! It was SO MUCH FUN!!! :cool1:

The characters were terrific, Eeyore and Tigger were hilarious, and the food was very good! It was a buffet, so it was standard buffet fare, but still very good - plentiful and hot, what else can you want?

Definitely keep it, it was a great time! We're going back - this time for breakfast (I can't wait to try the puffed french toast!).
