I will Be Attending a Character Breakfast for the first time ( ever ) at the Crystal Palace in Dec. .. I was Wondering. What Kind of food they have there? i know its " buffet" style but specificlly . So what do i do just walk in and grab a plate and help myself? How does that work.. also Hows the Character Interatcion? How often do they come around ? do they sign Autographs? and How Crowded will it be . Im thinking about Tue or Wed. As early as possible. i know i dont want Thurs. cause of EMH...

I know thats a lot of questions but i want to be Prepared ;) By the way im goin' solo :)

the character interaction is great! they come around from table to table and even have a conga lline of sorts for the kids. the food is good as well. you nailed it right on the head, you grab a plate and pick what you want

I've never been to the character breakfast at the Crystal Palace but have been to dinner there several times. You will be seated by a Disney castmember who will explain the whole buffet, character interaction thing to you. They will take your drink order and then you can head on over to the buffet. There are plates at the end of the buffets.

Our servers were very attentive and took our dirty plates and bowls quickly.

Our dinner was about an hour and fifteen minutes. During that time, the characters came to our table twice. They even held an impromptu character parade around the restaurant. They made sure they ended the parade right where it started so all the kids were back in their original spots.

The breakfast is really good at CP, you will have a great time with the characters. Make sure to try the french toast puffs andthe breakfast lasagna!!!

any meal at the crystal palace is lots of fun!! they have tigger and pooh, as well as piglet. they are great with adults as well as kids. as far as the food itself, its been awhile since we had breakfast there but I remember that it was really good. they had all the staples for breakfast, plus a kids area and try a little bit of the breakfast lasagna. I loved it so much i asked for the recipe. I think it's the only restaurant that serves it as well. Hope you have a great time!!!

We didn't have breakfast at CR but did do the dinner buffet and thought the food was very good. We were there during a crowded time of year, so the character interaction was limited to just one visit at your table. But they did a parade around the place & all the kids were asked to join in, which they seemed to enjoy and it was fun to watch. The food was always stocked.

The crystal palace for breakfast is amazing. They have all your basic breakfast foods plus some gourmet items. Next time we go to disney we are definately going again.

We loved the food (breakfast), characters, and decor. :thumbsup2

I have a quick question about Crystal Palace as well as other character meals with buffets-I'm nervous about getting up to serve ourselves and missing the characters!- Do they have a set rotation or does your server let you know they are coming to your table or area?

They have a set rotation, and especially at Crystal Palace you can tell who is coming towards you quite a bit in advance.

Chef Mickey's can be harder, but if you have a question you can just ask your server (though if you have our server from CM - you may not be able to find her as she wears an invisibility cloak ;) )

I totally agree. You'll definitely be able to see the characters when they are about to come to your table. Just keep an eye out.
