We have done Cape May and the Donald's breakfast at Animal Kingdom and really enjoyed both of them. The breakfast at Tusker House was really yummy but the tables were VERY close together and we felt rushed and crammed in there. I felt Cape May was much quieter and relaxed but both were fun.

I am not a huge fan of CM after being there so many times but my son loves it so I will be back there again for our next trip!

We had breakfast at Cape May for the first time this past August. While it is a character breakfast, it's very low key and much quieter than CP or CM (which we love by the way!) They had very yummy food and a great selection. You could definitely fill up here. We sure did!

Our next trip falls right in the middle of when the crystal palace will be closed for refurb and we run into on small problem a 3 year old pooh fanatic, anyone know of another character meal where pooh and tigger might be located....Thanks

I think the last time they closed Crystal Palace was in 2002 - at that time we had a Winnie the Pooh and Friends breakfast at Tony's Town Square instead. Not sure if all the meals were character or not.

Of course this is no guarantee they will do this again.

Your other choice is 1900 Park Fare Breakfast, Pooh is usually there.

Yes, I believe "Olivia's" at Old key West still has a "Pooh Breakfast" event. I would check, though, just to make sure....

We were just at 1900 PF breakfast in late July and Pooh and Tigger were both there. They both came to the table twice and we had plenty of time with them.

We were at WDW last time they closed CP and we had dinner at Tony's and the Pooh characters were there. Maybe they will move them again.

rumors swirling along with this now confirmed one that LTT might have characters. Besides the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, Pooh, and some friends, usually appear at Pooh's Corner in Fantasyland (usually busy), in front of te Great Movie Ride in DHS (somewhat crowded but covering several characters) and the English pavilion in Epcot (less crowded). I laos think they sometimes appear in DAK.

Just go back and our new favorite breakfast is at O'hana's!!! WE loved it!!! We will be doing this one from now on. I think we just did our last breakfast at Crystal Palace.

Olivia's has not had a character meal in years. It was discontinued prior to 2003.

It's been rumored that character dining will temporarily return to Liberty Tree Tavern while Crystal Palace is under rehab, but it appears that if it happens it will be dinner only and there will be the same characters that used to be at Liberty Tree - no Pooh characters.

My Best advice if you dont want to stand in line at character greeting spots that were mentioned by PP is to call 1407wdwdine and ask what the Pooh replacement will be for that time. Where will Pooh be? Ask the Dining representative they should know better than anyone. Good Luck

I haven't heard this yet, hopefully it is just a refurb. CP is one of my favorite table service restaurants.

I read on the dis that it's a refurb, from 1/3/10 through sometime in February. I'm crushed - I wanted so badly to see Eeyore because we missed him last time we were there since we got up too late for our ADR and couldn't change it to a later time. Ugh, DH will pay for this!!!
