We have tried CP and CM for dinner. We have had CP twice in the past year. I am really not wanting to eat there again anytime soon. We have eaten at CM twice...once for our Thanksgiving meal this past Nov. and once about 5 years ago. WE have never had dinner at 1900 Park Fare only breakfast. If anyone has any thoughts on these or just Park Fare I would love to hear what you thought about the food. Thanks :goodvibes

We thought the food was ok, about the same as CP, a little better than CM. I thought it was very loud because of the calliope(big organ) that erupted every few minutes or so.:rolleyes1 Buffetts and character meals are loud enough without that adding to it!:scared: It also felt very crowded too; I don't think we will go back.

How did you like the CM for Thanksgiving? We are trying to decide where to eat for Thanksgiving. Thanks!

I have been to 1900 park faire, and thought the food was typical of all disney buffets. I thought the GF was beautiful and would like to go back to see some characters you don't see a lot of, Mad Hatter, The stepmother and stepsisters....

I've done CP dinner and really like it!

Done CM BREAKFAST and enjoyed it very much. Never done dinner though.

We just did 1900 PF dinner two weeks ago even after reading lots of bad reviews. DH and I are not picky eaters. I don't go by the reviews (although I LOVE reading them!!) because I like to see for myself.

Well........the food was blah. There were maybe 2-4 things on the buffet that we could eat. We had so many plates piled up because we would grab a bit of this or that and then not eat it and go back to try something else. And I swear when I tell you that DH will eat almost anything. Well let me say....he will eat anything. :rotfl: But even he complained about the meal and that is not like him. He never complains about food.

The characters were awesome though. We were really anxious because it had been almost 45 minutes and we were almost done eating and no characters had come around. :scared1: We saw someone walk by with regular clothes and an ear piece so we asked and she was the manager. With 30 minutes all 5 characters came around. :goodvibes DH then went on to say that everyone in our section should thank him for the characters. :rolleyes1 DH then went to her again adn thanked her for everything.

I think we will skip it the next time and just do the castle and/or Norway and meet the stepfamily behind the castle where I saw them a few times.

We have been to all three and CP is the best...we just did 1900 PF in January (review and pics in my link) and the food was horrible. CM was the same....just ick food.

It would have been worth it if you we were on DDP maybe. It was crowded, long waits at the buffet at times. We were kinda in the back. I loved the desserts they had. :thumbsup2 It is worth doing, but it was very expensive for paying out of pocket.

We had dinner at all 3 of these character meals on our January trip. We loved each and every one  .

Crystal Palace was our favourite of the 3. Best food, nicest atmosphere, excellent service, and soooo convenient to eat right at MK.

Though many other posts complain about the quality of the buffet offerings, we also enjoyed 1900 PF and CM's. Both had lots of choices for everyone (young and old) that were hot, fresh and plentiful.

1900 PF was definitely the LOUDEST of the 3 meals. With all the antics between the stepsisters, this is not a good choice for those looking for a peaceful dinner. But it was fun and entertaining! And we all found lots and lots to eat here....despite the fact that two in our party are very, very finicky. Was it gourmet? Nope. But it was a satisfying meal with something for every taste.

CM's is great because you get the Fab 5 all in one place....fantastic for autographs and pictures without standing in line at the parks. And their dessert buffet was superior, in our opinion, to that of 1900 PF (DS loved the make-your-own sundae bar).

Still, though, CP took top honours in our opinion. Everything about that meal was awesome!
