What is the earliest time you can get a PS for on a regular opening day and/or a extra magic hour morning?

Also, if you have eaten here and Donald's Breakfastasaurus at AK which one do you prefer. (I have only had dinner at Crystal Palace, but have eaten Breakfastasauras 5 years ago).

We had either an 8:00 or 8:05ps for CP on a non ee day. We enjoyed it a lot!:D Were done just in time for rope drop.

We eat every year at the Crystal Palace Character Breakfast. The food is wonderful and I highly suggest it. As for PS times, the earliest PS is 8:05 and that doesn't change for early entry. We were just there during an EE and we were probably the 4th party seated and are PS was at 8:05.

How busy does it get first thing in the morning? Are there lots of other parties with a PS waiting to get in as well? I usually plan to eat my breakfasts later to avoid the crowds...

We were just at World in April and experienced both breakfasts. IMHO, I enjoyed the atmosphere at Crystal Palace the best, it's open, airy and very pretty. Breakfastosaurus had us seated basically in a Quonset hut. Felt more rushed at Breakfastorsaurus, but we were there for the earliest seating. For Crystal Palace, we were there for the latest. As the place started emptying out, we had more time with the characters.

Now when I think about it, we had a late seating for Crystal Palace during an EMH morning, which we actually prefer. It doesn't take away from any of the prime ride time. However, a strong positive in the Breakfastosaurus' favor is being in the Dinosaur area of the park before anyone else. My kids probably could've rode Tricopterotops Spin nonstop for a half hour while DH did Primeval Whirl multiple times.

Good luck with your decision!;)

We always get the earliest but I don't recall specifically what the time was... I think I actually got a 7:50 (could be wrong though). There were always a bunch of people waiting to get in with us but it was not too crowded. We were always seated within 10 minutes of arriving. Anyway, CP breakfast is our all time favorite meal in all of WDW. We have not tried Donald's but will hopefully do so this upcoming trip.

We ate at both back in March. At Donald's we felt very rushed--like we were a herd of cattle that they had to get in and out of there. The food was just o.k. We only went because my son loves Donald and then nnot much attention was given. Youhad just enough time for the autograph and if you were lucky you also got a picture--I had to grab most by the arm to get pictures of both children.

Crystal Palace was awesome--it is our favorite place to eat. The place was knda of loud, but not bad--the characters actually spent ime with the kids and the food was great. I give this one an A+---my picky eater son even bragged at how good the food was.

Hope that this helps.;)
