We are on the dining plan and want to try crsyal palace. Is it worth going twice and using DDP?

Whats the earliest reservation for this breakfast?

The earliest reservation time is 8:05am.

I can't answer your other questions yet because we've never had breakfast there, but thanks to all the rave reviews on the Dis we will be giving it a try in 33 days.

It is one of our favorite breakfast places . We have never had a bad breakfast here (knock on wood). Do get the 8:05 and you will eat and be ready to go just short of the rope drop. Great way to get pictures of an empty MK.

I love going at 8:05 am but I would not do it twice in one trip, there are too many other great places to try like Kona, Ohana, Boma and Cape May

It's definitely worth it. And yes, the 8:05 reservation is the best, you'll be in the park before it opens to everyone else.

That's great to know that most people who have an 8:05am reservation are done just before rope drop. This is our first time trying CP for breakfast and I managed to get that time!

I ate there at 8:05 am this past month. It was great! I would definately go to Crystal Palace on every trip, but, I would not go twice in one week, I would try other restaurants.

When we were there in August, we had an 8:15 ADR and was seated right away. The food was good, but the service was lacking. No Joking, we were done eating at 8:45, but did not get our check and get done paying until 9:45. Had we not been leaving there to go straight to Urgent Care, I would have spoke to the manager, who they could not find when we asked for one. Since there was 11 of us, we had to pay the auto 18% tip which was not deserved by our waiter who we never seen after he got our first round of drinks.

This is our favorite place in the parks for breakfast. They have traditional foods, and unusual items like puffed French toast and breakfast lasagna. Any meal with Tigger is okay with me.

We've never had anything but great service at CP.

We absolutely adore CP for breakfast. It's our favorite spot for that. We have our traditional 8:05 AM ADR during our upcoming trip.

But...with so many other great options, I don't think it'd be a good idea to do it twice in one trip.

Unless the trip was 4 weeks or more, of course!

Went their for breakfast in 07 and the food was excellent. Charming interior and nice Pooh characters around. Probably the best character meal I've been to.

We went this past Sept. my DW, DS , and myself just loved it. best character meal by far.Food was great, wait staff great. This is a permanent on all of our WDW vacas. from now on.. We didnt get to see Piglet for awhile, we just let our waiter know, and afew mins. later here came Piglet.

I had Breakfast Pizza on Monday. It was great!!!

We had an 8:10 ressie. We had to ask for our check, and got out of CP at 9:15, without seeing Eeyore. That would have been another 15 minutes.

I read that advice on the boards and did the same thing. They even bring you a pot of coffee, so it's not like you need to ask for refills. With an 8:05 ADR, we were probably the first to leave at 8:45. We enjoyed a relaxed breakfast, had ample time with all the characters and even joined in the parade around the restaurant.

When we left, there were Disney Photographers (i.e. the photopass type) already out and about on Main Street, so we got a bunch of photos before the rope drop and the initial stampede.

I never thought of doing that. It is a good idea. Then we could have given it to whomever to take care of for us since our waiter didn't come back that often

We were there in January on the DDP and it was our first meal. We loved it!

I think our reservations were somewhere around 8:05, too and we were done just before rope drop.

What a great idea to ask for the check with the drinks at a buffet! I think I'll be doing that with the large party we are taking in Dec.

We had an 8:10 ADR in September and we were out just after 9:00. We took our time and didn't hurry though, as we (meaning I) planned poorly and that was an EMH morning. But, the park was still completely uncrowded at that time. I agree with asking for your check early- that usually takes the longest...
