Crystal Palace Breakfast Question

Hello,

I secured an ADR for 8:35 at CP. MK opens at 9:00 that morning. Approximately what time do you recommend getting to the park for the reservation? And also how long can we expect to spend eating at CP and interacting with characters? My party is adults only. Thank you!

You will be let in after 7:45, assuming a 9AM open without EMH.

Most buffets take an hour to 90 minutes. If you want to make it shorter, it can be done but may involve skipping characters.

Be at the gates by 8:00, maybe earlier. There is usually a bit of a wait after check in too, so definitely be there as far ahead of your reservation as possible during that hour before opening time slot. Precious minutes make a difference, so we try to eat as soon as we are seated and occasionally choose to miss a character in order to take advantage of the first hour of park opening

Just beware though- they can change park hours if crowd predictions call for it and it can mess up your plans, so watch for that too. I snagged an 8am reservation for Thanksgiving week months before our trip and a couple weeks beforehand, general park opening was switched from 9:00 to 8:00 and put a kink in our rope-drop plans :/
