Crystal Palace breakfast or lunch?

I'm planning for our family to eat at Crystal Palace (me, dh, ds4, dd2) but I can't decide between breakfast or lunch. What would be your preference (w/ the dining plan)?

DD insists on breakfast at the Crystal Palace. I agree, because the menu is really good - made-to-order omelettes, pancakes, etc. We've never done lunch, but were less than impressed with dinner. If your DS and DD like breakfast, you will make out very very well here.

I was going to try somewhere else for our upcoming trip (as I wanted to last December) but she put on that sad puppy face and I caved.... maybe someday I'll eat at the Poly instead.

We have done both and liked both; but prefer breakfast. DS told us this was the best bacon he had ever eaten. I would go just for the puffed french toast and cheesy potatoes!! We will be there again in August!

Breakfast at the Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare are two of the best dining experiences on property.

Okay, breakfast it is! I was leaning towards breakfast but I hadn't heard too much about lunch. Thanks for your input.

Now I'm wondering, at MK would you rather have an early ADR (early as you can get) or wait and get a late seating for breakfast? Basically, if it's your first day in MK (our first trip) do you want to see the park a little bit first, ride a couple of rides, then eat? Or eat first and hit the park afterwards? Such delimmas planning these trips! Thanks for any advice you can give.

We are doing CP for breakfast our first morning in the parks. I think that we have the earliest ADR you can get (8am). We want to have a good breakfast before we start on our adventure. :cloud9:

HI, We always do a LATE breakfast 10-10:30 at the CP.It kind of serves as a brunch meal for my family, but my kids are older. We will then have a snack in the afternoon and a TS meal at night. And we do it this way because you can get in a couple of rides with not much wait if you arrive at/before MK opens. Also get a fastpass before you have breakfast and you can usually do that ride as soon as you are done at CP! This has been my family's FAVORITE breakfast place for quite a few years now. Have FUN!! We also like the first seating and try to plan it for our first day. We have found it really sets the mood for us.

It is nice to be one of the first families in the park for the day. There is nothing like walking down a virtually empty Main Street and seeing the castle for the first time of the trip. It's almost as if you have the park to yourself.

We are usually so excited to be there we don't want to stop for lunch. We have found that with a good breakfast, we don't have to.

We have done both, and I vote for breakfast, too.

We did the late breakfast one time, and one of the characters missed our table. I forgot which one.

We also did an earlier breakfast, and all of the characters got to our table.

I never did the early breakfast at CP, but being near the center of the Park, you should get a jump start to any of the lands.

Go at the very last breakfast seating. They will change over to lunch as you eat and you'll be able to grab some lunch items on your second "pass".

Yup, that is our way too.
