We were not able to get a good time to LTT so we went with CP at 5:20. Will we be "stuck" on Main Street until 7pm or will we be able to walk the park?

We are doing the same thing. I was told by several people, including a really great CM that we would be moved to either Fantasyland or Tomorrowland and can ride the rides there while the close the rest of the park down to get non-party people out.

He said it's very cool to watch how they move thousands of the non-party people out. So we're hoping to catch this too. He said we can get our bands before eating at the CP and then we won't be ushered out of the park.

So good luck with the CP and have fun at the party!!!

I think it might depend on when you are done eating or maybe the CMs working. The 2 times I ate before the party, I was probably done with dinner by 6:40? and they just had us wait in front of the restaurant till exactly 7:00p. They did not usher us anywhere. I didn't mind this at LTT because there was a photo booth right next to the restaurant and I was first in line! They would not take any photos though till exactly 7:00p.

Have fun!

Have you actually ever gotten into MK for a PS prior to MNSSHP opening time without using a days HOPPER?????
I have called CRO twice now (talked w/ two different CM's) and was told that we could not get into MK prior to 7pm w/o using a Hopper.
I was hoping we could so that we would beat the crowd in! Our plan right now is Ohana's at 5:10pm the take the boat over to MK just as soon as we finish dinner (hopefully that will be well before 6:30??) If there is a certain CM I should talk w/ do you have that name? TIA!!!

We have PS for CP at 5:30 on the 24th for MNSSHP. If we're stuck on Main Street, so be it. I think that the three of us can sit and have a leisurely meal, not feel rushed and still have time to enjoy every minute of the party. Stephen and I are taking his mom to MNSSHP this year......not only is it her first time attending MNSSHP, but it's her first ever visit to WDW  We can't wait to see her reaction to the MK at night with all the Halloween decorations :)

Yes I have. For the last 2 years at least they have allow party goers to enter the park after 4:00p (and before 6:00p) with only their party ticket.

You have to be in the park before it closes at 6:00p though. From 6:00 to 7:00 it is closed.

We have 5:25 reservations for CP for the 19th. We are planning on having a relaxing meal (as relaxing as it can get with little kids!) and figure it will take us at least an hour to eat. Since it is right near the baby care center, we'll bring the kids costumes with us and plan on changing diapers/pottying toddlers and dressing them in their costumes. By the time we're done with that it will be after 7:00 for sure! Here's hoping it works as planned!

We'll see you there!! Our PS is at 5:20 for Crystal Palace on the 19th and I love your idea about the baby care center!! Thanks for the tip. I really didn't want the kids to eat in their costumes and that is the perfect solution. Now why didn't I think of that? How old are your kids? Maybe they can keep each other company while we're dealing with the diapers.

Hi Lindaso! We have 2 boys, ages 4 and 2 and our friend has a 4 yo girl. They are all messy eaters and we didn't want to be messy before the party even starts! We went last year and had a blast and just can't wait to go again! Will look forward to seeing you there!

Just wanted to add that my husband and I will be dining at CP on the 19th at 5:30! My husband refuses to dress up, so we'll be the early 30's/late 20's couple with no costumes on. Maybe we'll see you there.

Wow! We can have our very own party on the 19th! Anyone else coming to the CP that night? (And I'm not sure yet about costumes for DH & myself, we didn't last year, but we'll see!)

We have a 4:20 PS for CP on 10/5, then we are going to MNSSHP. I guess that's kind of early, but it's the only time we could get. Forget about LTT... been booked forever!

I guess we'll just hang around and see how they set up!

Hi Heather, we'll be celebrating our anniversary this trip too. It's our 8th on the 22nd. The adults are thinking about dressing in Hawaiian shirts for the party. My kids are dressing up as a Bratz doll, Buzz Lightyear, and the baby will be Superman. Only 6 weeks to go!!

For the MNSSHP on the 31st, which do you think would be better? CP at 5:15 or LTT at 5:30? I've seen the tip where it's best to be at LTT, so you're closer to the back of the park, however BTMRR will be closed, so I have no need to get to the back of the park. BUT I have heard that the characters dress up at LTT, but not at CP... is 1 1/2 hours allowing TOO much time for dinner? I think I'm leaning towards CP since our favorite parts of the park are Tomorrowland and Fantasyland...

GO AHEAD AND BOOK YOUR PS NOW!!!! Especially for 10/31. I booked my family of 4 late Thursday for LTT for 10/19; I have been trying since SUNDAY to add my Sis and Niece to our PS and have been told every day (sometimes twice a day LOL!!!) that the LTT is absolutely booked for that nite. She was able to get a 6:20 table for 2 but we are going for a 5pm PS. Oh well, we are going to try and get them in at 4:30 when we go so they will at least be in the world (some posters here have said you can get in after 4pm) then they can go to their PS or get counter service if it is available! Go ahead and get a PS for both restaurants then you can cancel the one you do not want! If you are not going to be in MK all day and are just going to go for MNSSHP, then you will have to eat at LTT. I was told that was the only restaurant that does not require a regular park admit ticket. GOOD LUCK!!

Fortunately, we will have LOS passes (Whatever they're called now)... so I don't think usage of a days pass is an issue... I just hate having to make these kinds of decisions! My mother is no help... and I'd hate to disappoint my daughter!
