I am planning to eat at CP for our next trip. We have eaten breakfast there a few times. This trip I am at a loss as to if we should eat Breakfast before park opening or on a day with AM EMH and try for a late seating? OR an early Lunch? or Dinner?

We do always hit the parks for AM EMH's, then get the heck outa-dare by lunch to take a nap (we have small children who NEED it...well heck I do too :rotfl2: ), before hitting another 'quieter' park for the PM.

Personally I like dinner at CP better than breakfast. We have done both many times. We like going to MK after a break in the day for an early dinner with Pooh, then we head out to the park around 6:30pm or so and we usually can get right on many rides with very little to no wait. Then we watch the parade and fireworks.

Hope this helps!

We have had dinner there 3 times and we love it! Food is very fresh, very good and the interaction with the characters is great!

MickiNicki & scanne- You are both fast lil'l typers aren't ya? So ya both like the din din thing...What time are you talkin?

Our ressie for July is at 5:20pm, but we have gone for dinner as early as 4:30pm which gave us a lot of time for a nap for the kiddos and then plenty of MK time at night!

ENJOY!

LOL! The times we went were before the MNSSHP and 2 MVMCP and we had 5pm reservations. We though that since it was the last seating of the night we would not have the greatest meal but we were dead wrong. They let us stay as long as we wanted, they kept replenishing the food, all the food. The chicken pesto pasta was my fav, DH loved all the salads and the roasted meats. The dessert bar was a killer for me, I had to try one spoonful of everything!!

Breakfast and dinner are very different, breakfast has the breakfast Lasagne (made woth pancakes), and dinner is (i think) one of the best dinner buffets. We have a breakfast and a dinner booked when we go (for 12 days).

We eaten at CP a few times. Are you on the dining plan. Cost is a factor for us. Breakfast is cheaper. We also like to take a break in the middle of the day. We would request the latest available for breakfast. I think 10:50 am. Then leave afterwards. Breakfast is the kids fav either way. They love sausage.

I vote breakfast. You can have a later breakfast and consider it brunch. The puffed French Toast is awesome. :)

We like them both, but especially like the dinner, nice atmosphere, and the food really is great. Always very fresh, and it is a nice way to start an evening at the MK.

We like breakfast on a non EMH day. ADR for 8:05, eat and be in the park for opening. :)

We are planning on doing the DDP.

The idea of trying to do it on a non early entry day, before the parks open, really seem fun....but I would also like to try the dinner, as many have said it is pretty good. Does anyone know where I find the times of each seating (when does Breakfast, lunch and dinner start). :confused3

On a side note, lunch must not be too great :rotfl: , as no takers on that one!

We did early lunch one day, after am EMH (did 11 things by 11 am!) and really liked it. I would be curious what the difference actually is between lunch and dinner. We had a full assortment of hot dishes.

We also did the last seating for breakfast on a regular entry day, (also got there at opening) and that worked well too.

I prefer breakfast, but that's because I like that puffed french toast. drool.....

Edited to add: late breakfast was much less crowded, and we were still there as they were getting ready for lunch. They kept one side of the buffet open as long as we were there. The crowds were really snarling at the door for lunch though!

Only have had dinner there it's been great to us.
